Exercise is very important. I walk a minimum of two miles a day and do Zumba three times a week. Also having a great doctor and staff at a center of excellence is super helpful. Good luck to all!!

I started at 303 in November of 2012. As of today I weigh 171 and am at my goal. You are not too big to have the surgery. It's an awesome life changing experience and I wish you the best of luck!!!

I am down from a 28 to a 12 and I still go to the plus size clothes out if habit. I spent my whole life going there and it's hard to re-train your brain. Lol.

Yes. I suffered from serious back pain and took two different meds for it. Since I've lost the weight I have no back pain and am on no meds at all!!! Best decision ever for me! Good luck to you and prayers up for you, I know how you feel -

I did the same thing six weeks before my surgery. I promise it will get easier. I'm now seven months post op and still no caffeine. . Hang in there, it's so worth it!!! -

My starting weight was 303 I was sleeved November 26, 2012 and today at my 6 month follow up I am 195!!!! -
It's horrible. My daughter is in the 3rd grade and I am absolutely heartbroken for all those parents. Everyone hug your children a little tighter tonight and tell them how much u love them. I thank God for her everyday.

So today I went to Victoria Secret and was able to buy undies!!! Whoooo hoooo! First time I've ever been in there and was able to buy something besides perfume!!!

I think it is finding a center of excellence. I am lucky to have two of them close to me. I was sleeved in November 2012 at centennial bin nashville tn and love going in for my appts. They are so awesome and having everyone (nutritionist, exercise physiologist and surgeon all in the same bldg is great!! -

Right now I don't eat over 20 carbs a day and very little of any sugar. I walk mainly, about 3 miles a day. I also do crunches and weights for my arms. Trying to avoid as much saggy skin as possible. Lol -
