My surgery is on the 26th. I have been on the pre-op diet for a week and have another week to go. I have been allowed to eat every 2 hrs. Have a high protein drink and then 2 hrs later have a high protein bar. Then 4 oz meat and 2 cups veggies at dinner time. I am ready for mine. I am 62 years old and ready to have my life back.

I am on the 2 week diet also and I have chosen Slim Fast which has 190 caloris and 10 grams of protein and gucerna shakes. I don't know what is recommended but I figured this was as good as any for the pre-op 2 week journey. Good Luck!

My surgery is scheduled for the 26th also. I start the 2 week pre-op tomorrow. At least my husband won't be home this week, he'll be out of town on business. Can't wait for 2 weeks to pass!
