It is obviously his own insecurities. Don't put up with that! This is a time in your life that should be about you! Weight loss is hard with or without the sleeve and we all need encouragement. He needs to shape up or ship out, you are are beautiful and deserve better. Keep up the great work

Hello all! I turned 49 in Dec.I joined the 40s group also, but I guess 50 is closer to my age LOL! I was sleeved on March 6th, down 17 lbs (5) pre-op. I had a complete hysterectomy at 28 so basically went through forced menopause then, never any problems though thank God! I have 2 great kids 28 and 22. 50 is going to be my year to be fabulous! Returning to work 3/25.

Gladiator protein powder from Smoothie King. 1 serving = 180 cal,45 grams protein and 2 carbs. Chocolate flavor, I mix it with unsweetened almond milk, Splenda, decaf Nescafé it is really pretty tasty and it is 45 grams protein. I mix it all in the blender with a little ice.

I had the same pain, left side next to your belly button,burning pain. I am 12 days out and it is now gone.

I have felt like this also, especially when I had all the head hunger. I was "mourning food" but it gets better. Just hang in there and keep your eye on the prize.

I didn't have the swollen breast. But I did wear me bra right away, I was kind of scared that it would rub my incisions but it was fine.

I am also a week out. I am having the same issue. Everything sounds good! It is hard but I just keep picturing myself skinny/healthy. Good luck!

I am 5 days out. I would not say that I am hungry really, but more like everything that I can't have looks yummy and I want it. LOL

I had mine on March 6th. I got rid of most of the gas/air pains before I left the hospital by walking a lot. But I do feel the pain more now, mostly on my left side. I think it is because I was more medicated in the hospital. Now that I am out I only use the liquid Hydrocodone before bed,and extra strength Tylenol during the day so I am guessing this is why I am feeling the pain more But I am sure things will be better in a few days. But walking does help alleviate the gas.
