Complications 3.5 years out?

I don't recall seeking medical advice. I recall asking a question about weight loss surgery on a weight loss surgery forum. Thanks to all who answered! -

I do still have my gall bladder. Planning on contacting them when they are in the office. Just curious if anyone ever heard of complications this long after surgery. -

I was sleeved about 3.5 years ago. Never really had any complications. Now all of a sudden I sometimes get cramping and back pain within a few hours of eating. Not everyday and not every time I eat something. Could this be from my sleeve? Or something completely unrelated?

156 pounds lost!!
-
I've lost over 150 lbs. I started out losing 3lbs/week. After a while it went down to one. I can eat a lot more than before. Over the holidays I have gone up and down. Kind of stalled. Thinking I need more protein

Over 400Lbs Gastric Sleeve Success Story
cartmansnj replied to jasminem89's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Almost 9 months out. I hit 150lbs lost today!! It is getting much harder. Had lost some weight every week until a few weeks ago when I gained two pounds. Did not get discouraged and kept working at it. Lost 3 lbs last week and one this week to get me to the 150. -
That depends on who you ask. My surgeon has told me there is nothing that is off limits. It is about portion control. I am almost 8 months out and dont drink soda. I did have a small glass of champagne and did not have any problems.

Google Ghrelin. Its a hormone in the stomach that causes hunger. It is pretty much gone after surgery. It also regulates body temp. My whole life I was always hot until after the surgery. I believe the absence of this hormone has something to do with it.

What foods do you no longer like?
cartmansnj replied to anglicanchic85's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I have not had any changes as to what I like. Only the amount that I can eat. Of course I have not had any bread, pasta, rice or sugar since my surgery so I dont know if I still like those things. (pretty sure I will) I always heard that was more for the Bypass patients. -
A little over 6 months and I have broken the 300's and am into the 200's for the first time in over 10 years!!!
