I was sleeved on 1/28/13. I have struggled with my weight my whole life, but through this procedure, I finally feel in control.

Ran off and eloped with my husband when we were 18 years old, 3 days before he left for basic training. Blessed to still be married to him. He is the best person I have ever known. Proud mom of two amazing kids...ok so they aren't kids anymore. They are adults now. Where did time go? My daughter is 20, and will be married in the fall. My son will be 19 this April. I have had the most amazing time being their mom.

Careerwise, I work as an SQA Engineer. Fancy was of saying I test software for a software development firm. I love my company and my career!

I own a photography firm and also do that part time.

I am a self proclaimed adrenaline junkie. I have raced cars, competed in demo derbies, bungee dived, ziplined, you name it...if I haven't done it, then it is probably in my future. I also love life, and firmly believe that the only thing I have control over is my own attitude.

My legacy in this lifetime will be my work with teenagers. I was in the youth ministry for 10+ years. Now my husband and I coach an 18U fastpitch team. We have placed 18 girls in college programs since we started the team 5 years ago.
