Well, I did it... 4 days post-op! Up until the day of my sleeve surgery, I still questioned myself if I was doing the right thing. Not that I didn't have confidence in the procedure, I was nervous about 1/2 my stomach being removed. I had researched and read many sleeve blogs, but was still anxious. I guess I was nervous about how my body would react to this surgical procedure. My starting stats: 5'6" at 212.4 lbs. After my second pregnancy 24 years ago, my weight never did bounce back. I stayed at size 18. My priority in life was to my kids and husband; unfortunately, not to myself/weight.
