Anticipation was worse than actual surgery for me......I had lots of work done besides sleeve...I had two hernias repaired and a bunch of adhesions removed from a very old surgery.....and all done laparoscopic with 7 incisions. You are going to great! And keep us posted

If I can go thru this surgery anyone can...lost 96 lbs in 6 months. my only regret was not having it sooner. You will do great embarking on your journey tho a healthier you!

I love to measure out two tablespoons and eat it with a tiny spoon in the evening as a snack. At only 45 calories and 5g p it's a great year with no guilt. I love it also in a banana smoothie

Certain foods over little restriction......practice protein first. I get full quickly when doing this. I have seen some members post salad is a slider good for them.

Yes..if you drop the calories too much will lead to trouble. Sometimes I up them for a day and somehow it kicks in a drop. Increase exercise!

I weigh my food ...I like knowing how much I am eating...I feel more in control I guess.

i feel guilty of i don't measure my food and perhaps maybe....just maybe go over the amount ..both physically and calories i should be eating. i have great resistance with the sleeve but never great fear i Will stretch it out
. i was in nyc for business and are more than usual yesterday.....i wasnt going to get on the scale till Monday in case i gained ( lost 3 lbs) i wish i could lose the guilt and other issues with food, control...etc....

i an 100 says post op today and just started losing hair....just started biotin too...not gonna sweat it too much since it will grow back

i think everyone is right.....meat sounds like its just too much for you right now. chili is the best......it's moist and the meat is broken down...you can also experiment with different kinds of meat in your chili. Yes! i ate alot of ricotta cheese bakes one month post op! refried beans with salsa and cheese cheese....i still eat chili almost daily at about 3 months post op.'

i believe in being honest and saying things in a respectful way.....i have noted on this forum both ends of the spectrum. highly sensitive members as well as people who come across somewhat hostile. i do believe in giving folks honest feedback

medifast chocolate pudding has 14 g protein made h water per serving...110 calories...serving are small....if you combined that with milk and pb 2 (using a third of the pudding) you could get it up to 15 or so grams p. i use over moon milk 11 g p per cup

i cried the first week post op thinking i had made the biggest mistake of my life and it was irreversible..1 1/2 post op i wonder why i didn't do this sooner...

cried every morning for a week.....it gets so much better....irreversible was freaking me out and itoo thought whatwhathave i . please try to believe it so much better.....it really does!

One cookie and one bag of chips once in a blue moon is ok...that's what people do...but you have to keep it in check...like no more than once a month or something like that. I had a cookie Sunday..one smallish cookie...not the whole batch.
