Regarding marriages breaking up after w l s ....I wonder if those marriages were already rocky and the spouse that had surgery just gained the self esteem after losing weight to end it? Just a theory.....on some... Great thread though!

    Are these feelings normal?

Very normal thoughts to be frightened and nervous....and sprinkled on top are feeling of excitement and hope:) I was terrified of surgery....and off giving up food, well giving it up the way I ate it....I am so pleased I finally had surgery...it took me a very long time to get here
  6. As we January sleevers get further out from our surgery date is anyone else thinking about the honeymoon period ending and the 6 month"window", I realize I will have to amp my exercise up and weight loss cannot continue at this pace but previous posts have me a bit apprehensive about what to expect. I still have a large chunk of weight to lose .....

  8. I've met plenty of people in my support group at the hospital who have lost All the excess weight they needed to lose. Some took longer than others too get there. I think the sleeve will continue to grow in popularity due to positive results and les side effects than bb or the banding. By the way....I think your weight loss is very good....keep it up!
