    No day but today!

It was no where near as bad as I anticipated. Uncomfortable more than painful as I recall. I am over 5 months out and down 93 lbs since 1/21/13! Look forward to Autumn...imagine where you will be
  2. And it gets even better....I eat anything I want but with it comes great will power and restriction! Yes..I indulge in a few years here and there but with restraint now:)
  3. I do believe the less weight you have to lose...the slower it is. Your weight loss may be slow but you are going in the right direction. I also fluctuate up and down for days on end....then I will lose a bit again. My weight loss has slowed as I get further out. Make sure you journal all t your intake and exercise

    Failed )-:

Get back on plan immediately. If course one meal has not undone all those 11 days have done. You are so close to having an amazing aid in weight loss. I screwed up constantly up until surgery...now I am the poster child for the sleeve. Stop now and get back on course:)

    Off my chest.

A very stressful situation. Try to stay on track. This is the time to journal. This will pass...you will get into your new place....you will turn it into a home...it will get better. In the meantime try to stay focused on your healthy lifestyle.....life throws stress out way....you can ride this out and break that stall. Maybe this new chapter will be amazing for you.....good luck...it will be alright

6 weeks out and gaining weight :(

I go up a lb or two then drop. I have gotten used to the rhythms of my weight loss so I am not alarmed...annoyed a bit, yes. Lol. If you are following the game plan...getting in protein, drinking water and limiting carbs and mixing in some physical activity...your weight can only eventually go down...good luck:)
  7. Don is right...I have lost and gained hundreds of pounds..I need something permanent and something to keep me going after I cheated after a month. Now I have allowed myself a handful of cheats....tiny little cheats which don't result in big binges. I feel in control and more normal now than I did pre op. I eat small healthy portions and get full quickly. What's not to love? Down 100 lbs , I couldn't have done that without the sleeve
  8. I've been stuck for a couple of weeks...finally had a2 lb loss to make it an even 100 lb loss. 90 of those came off since surgery January 21st...just 5 months ago:)

    Dizzy after two weeks

Yes...I would be in the shower trying to wash my hair and the simple act of lifting my hands above my head was exhausting....it passes!
  12. Fage hands down....but I do eat the others too

    The scale is killing me

I try to ignore the stalls and no my body has to start losing and it always does. I had my biggest drop in weight at 3 months out...I lost 20 lbs that month. At 5 months out I am really losing slowly now.

    wanted to share this recipe

    Sounds great..Thanks for posting
  16. Wow...fantastic and congrats everyone!
  17. I am pretty much where I thought I would be at this time...and hoped. Down 98 lbs ...10 of those were pre op. Weight is coming off slower and I do experience stalls and then go back into a losing trend. I just lost another pound after experiencing a stall for the last 10 days. I am 57 lbs from goal. I am eating about 1000 calories a day. Averaging about 900 to 1100 calories a day. Protein is 60 to 75 g I am avoiding carbs as much as I can comfortably. Not eating posts, rice..crackers but I'd they are naturally occurring in a healthier choice.. if anyone is reading this who is trying to decide on actually having w l s. It took me a long time to go thru with this...I was terrified on so many levels. It has enabled me to get to a place I wouldn't have been able to without it. I still have my issues with food...still think about it easy too much and still need to make the right choice but the restriction the sleeve has given me is amazing. I am still amazed when I cannot finish my meal and I do try to measure so I don't overeat. I track my food so I can keep an eye on my nutrition. Hoping to be at goal by my 1 year anniversary

  22. Until late afternoon I have good control over food but after 5 or so it's a struggle...with or without the sleeve. I can nibble and nibble.....and that food adds up! Gotta go back to the strict 3 meals and one snack again......why is it the evening though????
  23. That's prob it....more time on my hands and I am coming dinner for the rest of the house too.
  24. In a bit of a stall right now..even with the added exercise. I guess it's my body catching up
