    i had a year plus of food funerals!!!! was supposed to have the surgery June last summer...put it off january...if i want afraid to all hoopsi had to jump through..appointments...i might have put it of forever.....

  5. about one year but then put off surgery for another year for too many things....it's true nothing prepared you.....it's a great tool!

    i will not be drinking did again. this was too difficult to go thru....and i truly am ok with that
  11. i am 65 lbs heavier than i was when i met my husband.....he is excited to see my weight loss....he is thin.....
  12. i am 10 weeks out. i have not lost interest in food i lost my huge probably football sized stomach. i am vegetarian..ate healthy but huge meals pre op. i am now eating same of food minus all carbs. i am looking forward to losing the weight and then maintaining my weight with a diet similar too sleeve of steel. had this surgery to have a more normal appetite like a typical person. i do understand this is a tool and Will require work. i don't want to eat the calories i take in long term....i don't think it's the healthiest....

    my husband wanted Indian tonight and i ordered a small appetizer of paneer....it was delicious..and the size was perfect. really amazing Indian. the Brits love their Indian food!
  17. same thing happened tho me at 3 -4weeks. doctor doubled for me..my omeprazole dose. helped. also was told take gaviscon as needed. it gets better.butcan still get acid stomach.but less frequently.

    journal everything..track what you are eating. go back to basics..drink your water and on protein....u do it!
