Hi everyone, hope you don't mind me joining in. I was banded in August 04 and to date I've lost 30lbs I've had 3 fills and haven't lost any more weight for three weeks now although I think all the chocolate the house was full of over Christmas hasn't helped. Helenxx.

Courtney I had my op on the 27 Aug and to date I've lost 30lbs with nothing at all for the last five weeks and its so disheartening, but I do not drink even a third of what everyone's been saying so I'm going to make sure I do from now on, I hardly eat any protein, veggies or carbs either I've been living on soup and rubbish, so now I have some very good info I'm hoping things will start to move again. Hello Kate, its amazing how quickly you will start to feel better, I was in a lot of pain at first but every day I felt better than the one before and by day 11 I was almost good as new, take it easy and I hope you feel better soon. Helenxx.

Hi Donna I just wanted to say well done with the weight loss its fantastic, if your losing weight steadily and not eating too much then I wouldn't worry about a fill for the time being. I was banded on the 27/8/04 and have had three fills up to now but i didn't feel any lasting restriction untill after my third fill. Helenxx.

Thank you all so much for the kind welcome, its great to be among so many fellow bandster lol!! Auds of all the places to meet you!! Bright your doing really well I had my surgery in Manchester with Prof Ammori and go there for my fills. I started off at 18st 5lbs and would dearly love to get down to around 10 stone, I'm looking forward to joining in too. Helenxx.
