Hi guys I was sleeved on the 8th n I'm doing just great. Everyone is shocked I say about the weight loss. Only 5 people know I had surgery my 2 children , husband n 2 cousins who r also my BFF.I love the sleeve it gives u time to lose weight at a good pace it's steady n not so drastic. U control the weight loss. I'm at stage 3 n eating is just getting good . I found some incredible vegan kale chips at gnc n they r great. It's so good for u n it helps with everything u guys should really give them a try. My pre op weight was 240 I'm down to 210.

Hi Michelle I'm so happy to see u r fine. I think your body is just responding to the change it just had. U just removed 85% of your stomach. I'm not a Dr. so u ask your surgeon just to be sure. But I know God didn't c u through to let anything happen to you. I'm glad that u can feel your heartbeat it just means your ALIVE lol. U will be back to normal in a few days. Just take 1 day at a time rest ,walk for a few minutes a day n don't b afraid to take pain meds if u have some discomfort . Stay in touch I will be looking out for your posts. I really don't like eating solid food guys it makes me feel so full even after chewing it a million times n eating only my 3oz . So my question is if I drank protein shakes instead of eating solids would I be ok. I'm in stage 3 right now n I'm 4 weeks post op. I lost 28lbs. I feel good when I'm just taking in liquids . Solids just hurt right now n I'm really thinking about not eating solids for maybe 3 months. I'm scared to venture out if I eat solids they make me sick n I miss going to church. WHAT WOULD U DO ????? I only go out with my husband only to take care of business n to walk my dogs . No one in my family has seen me except my daughter n she said I look great I haven't been to church since last week in December . I miss everybody n my husband is getting on my last nerve. I love him but I need to get out or I'm going to explode. BUT MY FEAR OF VOMITING FROM EATING SOLIDS KEEPS ME IN. HELP WHAT SHOULD I DO FOOD DOESN'T LIKE ME RIGHT NOW!!!!!!

Yes girl it a normal part of this surgery. It's letting u know that u had to much to u r at the limit n back off. I learned the hard way u will gag , have reflux n then vomit so just take those sips slow n steady. U r not alone n everyone will help u along the way. We got your back well sleeve lol .

Thank u for your answers now here goes !!!! Ive tried the tilapia ,tuna. eggs,chicken breast, turkey, I don't eat pork or red meat so that just won't do. I'm trying to get my proteins in we all need them n I'm not eating to much since surgery everything taste or smells so DISGUSTING ..... My taste went with the stomach they removed . My nut. says to keep trying the foods until I can stomach them but to keep getting my liquids in if I can't eat. So I will take that advice n GET BACK TO CHURCH thanks an God Bless!

I'm 4wks. out on the 8th n I'm having such a hard time moving my bowels. It has kept me up for at least 3-4hrs every 4days. As soon as I finally get into an actual good sleep I wake up with pains in my stomach. I know it's time to make a bowel movement but it hurts like HELL . Ive walked the floor drank coffee,tea, milk. Nothing works I got so desperate I wanted to put on gloves n get it out. It doesn't work just to let u guys know. I had to wake my husband n tell him what was happening I was so EMBARASSED but I didn't want to be found passed out in the John with my behind out. He stayed up n talked n rubbed my back down to try n ease some of my discomfort . Please don't say use milk of magnesium it didn't work. Bottom line is I drink fluids all day n I only eat 1x a day everything I've tried just doesn't taste good n I'm afraid it won't exit nicely. So I had to use a enema which worked IMMEDIATELY . I'm relieved but i need help guys I'm tired of drinking but scared to eat my solids is anyone having this problem n how did any of u get through constipation I lost 28lbs thats the only good thing. Start weight 237!!! PLEASE HELP SEND ME SOME ANSWERS I NEED YOUR BLESSINGS

Thank u guys for your answers and I have to tell u I'm on stool softness 2 a day n I do drink up all my liquids. I'm just going to keep in mind I just had surgery n my body will get back to normal. But i will always have enema's they are. on time and will give a BM in less than 5 min. So if any of u guys r having trouble just keep them in the house in case of emergency. Who wants to spend 3-4hrs. in pain not me:)

Hi on the 8th is my 1 month anniversary lost 25lbs. But I'm exhausted I babysit my grandchild n it's giving me headaches n I'm very stressed out. R any of u guys feeling like this I need answers????

My start weight 240 n now I'm 215 but I'm stuck at 215 for a week now. It's been really cold n I can't walk outside . I do dance but I guess that's not enough. But I'm loving this I've never felt better I quit smoking in sept. something I never could have done. But God is good I feel so blessed.

I'm blessings n I had surgery on the 8th n now I'm 25lbs lighter. Tomorrow is 1 month anniversary.

Yes I understand I have the same thing in my home as far as eating, but he had an appt. with his dr. N now he is watching his weight . He is asking me for advice so don't stress.
