I went to the website and registered and didn't think I was going to get it because there was absolutely no confirmation or info but my package just showed up on Friday, very nice surprise! -
I too have a lot of family support and it is invaluable to us all. My sister had vsg on 11/7 and has lost 40 and feels super. Mom mom had ruin y bypass in 2006 and because she initially lost 100 pounds no matter what she ate, decided she could eat whatever and how much she likes so has regained about 40 pounds. I hope we can inspire her to reform and keep on the straight and narrow (and thin!) path ourselves.

I am set for Wed Feb 20th and am starting clear diet today so I will have plenty of time to get cleaned out before taking the calcium citrate on Tue. This was a tip from an old GP and is helpful. Am looking forward to my new reality!

I am 42 and weigh 232and have been overweight my whole life though I do eat healthy foods. I have come to the realization that i am at the age where I need to be drastic and get results. I am hoping for and end of Feb surgery and started the process last April but got delayed by my insurance requirements and then by a change of insurance so I am submitting for authorization again. My Dr is Dr Hanna in Las Vegas. -
I struggle with the decision too and feel like it is time for this drastic health measure. I really want to be healthy

Try acting like you are an actual actor on TV, have you ever noticed that they don't really eat but spend a ton of effort cutting and moving their food around? Eat a few bites and tear that plate up -

I am in Henederson, close enough to LV LOL. I am pushing for surgery at the end of the month hopefully or as soon as the insurance auth comes thru. I am curious about other NV'ers and support groups -
