Hi, you expressed your,also my feels, very well. i am so very scared. but i am also so looking forward to the band.I have NEVER liked exercise!!! Not real sure what type i will stay with. the staring 6 wks before, sounds like a great idea. my dr. tells me i must have a game-plan for every area of my life for this to work in the long run, i agree. so good to hear others are making it work. i am 56 yrs.old, i really want this to work.i never thought my food-choices would caught up with me, but they have, i am a diab.have high b/p,sleep apnea, fatty liver(go figure)& MEMAPAUSE!!!!!!!!!!!!thank you all for your comments, nancy

Terri, You sound Great!Thanks for what you said to Liz.Please help me. I went to the Seminar Mon.Went to Dr.today, ins. is being filed, I think I will be approved o.k.But my real Concern is ME. I have been on every diet there is, & for 3-4 wks.I do good.I'm thinking the lapband will work for me because of the 'fear-factor', my dr.said i may not feel satisfied after eating, because of eating for so many reasons, I understand this is life changing, I have such self-doubt that i will go back to the same old ways & eat.I'm not the greatest fad of exercising, My husband went w/me to the seminar & said that "they" only told me things that I already know, if I would just stick w/it, which is true.I do want this to work so bad, but I am so scared I guess of myself. i am just starting all this, calling ins.tomorrow, 3 dr.s have suggested the lapband,hopefully ins.will see it the dr.s way?? my ? is normally(right!) how much time are you off work? i have a desk job, but high strees, lots of responsibilty. so what do ya think? thanks, nancyem

hi, i read things on this site, good site for info.which i need,however i am so afraid of the fills, that seeing this did help my fear. i really have a thing about needles,how does the dr.know know where to stick you for the fill,does it take several times sticking you?i don't have a date yet, so i'm reading everything i can.so, will i make it ok with the fills? thanks, nancy

Jayne, i haven't had surgery yet. My Dr.tells me I am a good candidate.I do hate the FAT, but I am scared that I will fell at this ALSO!! I know that shows how very insecurity I am!!! Also ALL those needles-wow, I am being silly, I guess,But scared to tears! Thanks for listening! Nancy
