    Stupid Question!

Try the greek yogurt less cals and sugar and more protein than yoplait. Plain meaning there is no flavor they say this because the pieces of fruit can be harder to digest thats why they suggest plain. But as long as your looking at the label and getting something very low in sugar and calories than you should be fine.
  3. ahhhhh lol sorry about that yes theres a portsmouth in va and i thought your nh was north hampton hahaha sorry good luck

I eat what im supposed to and watch my calories as well as my protein intake. I have a hard time getting enough fluids in but i try lol. These last few days I feel like I cant get enough to eat. Ill eat at my meal times and 45 mins later i feel like im starving and i could naw off my own arm lmao. I go to healthy snacks but i feel like im defeating the purpose of this surgery by munching all the time. Has anyone else gone through this?

    I need help

Hello, first off congrats on taking the steps to changing your life. I had the sleeve done 2 months ago and i was up walking around 4 hours after surgery and ive lost 45 pounds in 5 weeks. The process is very simple. You would be admitted they would drug you up you go to sleep they will make 6 incisions and go in laprosopicaly divide your stomach and new pouch than staple the new pouch closed and bam your on your way to a new skinny and healthy life. It took me about a week to fully be able to function without alot of discomfort but you get plenty of good meds. I had surgery on dec 4th at 270 pounds I am now 2 months out and 45 pounds down. Good luck

How do you get over your stalls? I have been one in a little over 3 weeks now and Im loosing my mind over it. I feel like no matter how hard i try or no matter what i do my body hates me and doesnt want me to lose the weight. Congrats on your weight loss and i hope you reach your goal soon.

    10 days post op questions

Hey, the re flux feeling your getting is the gases from the surgery they will continue to be released through your body for another week or 2. The shortness of breath is due to that as well, you had major surgery your body is sore and is adjusting as well. If you still have that plastic tube that you were supposed to breath deep into at the hospital you can try doing that for a few extra days to see if that might help.

    Anyone with advice....

Drink more water, try eating something that you normally wouldn't being sleeved your body just might need a little extra to burn keep in the protein
  16. I actually LOVE zumba wii its so much fun!!! becareful with how long you do it for because zumba is a high cardio workout you can burn what you take in, in just an hour workout. keep your protein up and if you feel lightheaded stop. if your burning more than your taking in your body with go into the reserves and youll end up stalling. Have fun!!

    Getting in fluids...

Careful with the fruit just because its fruit its still higher in carbs. Your really only supposed to take in fruit once a week because of the carbs and sugars. Like i said earlier the warm food with make you feel full. I didnt do the cream soups because the felt to heavy on my new pouch but the fat free Cheddar soup, the broth from chicken noodle, i ate ALOT of split pea soup that was my fav!
  18. Hey im 2 months post op and an excersise junky. Ive been working out since day of surgery (walking etc) weight lifting needs to weight till atleast 6 weeks start low though than work your way up. With this surgery if your weight toning you will have to bump up your cals just alittle to keep your body from going into starvation mode and putting your into a stall. I only do weight training once a week and all else 5 times a week. No matter what workout your doing as long as your working out at a moderate pace and speed you will still "SHRINK" lol i am working on becoming a personal trainer as well as nutrition consult so if you need a help on workout plans/eating just let me no. good luck have fun

    Getting in fluids...

Im 2 months post op and you really do need that protein to keep your body from starving and picking up the reserve from your tissue/muscles etc try the atkins cafe carmel coffee its a protein mix but LIMIT these while still new to gastric sleeve, if you have a blender get creative. 1 scoop choc protein powder half a bananna and 1 cup almond milk (or whatever your drinking) blend till smooth. 1 scoop vanilla powder 1 cup milk handfull of pinapple, strawberries, blueberries which ever you wanna try. Just blend very well so no big pieces. Everything right now is trial and error you dont no whats going to happen until you try it first. Broccoli and cheese soup thinned out alittle than blended was soooooo good when i was on my liquid diet. Anything warm will give you the full feeling so i hope some of this helped if you need other recipes IM LOADED lmao
