I am having surgery on April 15th with dr oritz at occ. when do you get your stitches out? I am dreading the drain! I had one for another surgery I had and it was so uncomfortable coming out.

Thank you! I feel better that I won't have to deal with stitches. I am allergic to the adhesive on tape and notified them of this on the initial forms that I filled out but ill have to remind them again I'm sure. The drain still makes me a but nervous but oh well! I wish I was going TODAY!

I am thrilled to have found this thread! I am being sleeved by Dr oritz in 4/15 and can not wait. I am 5'2" and 175# so unable to have my insurance pay for it in the states. I am so tired of the to to dieting that I have done for the past 25 years. I have no health concerns at this time but as I look at my family members I know they are just around the corner if I don't do something now. I love the results everyone is having! -

I haven't scheduled the surgery yet but that is the date that I am looking at. I was having some trouble with my passport that has delayed my scheduling. Then I ran into conflicts with work, ughh. So hopefully by next week I will be able to schedule. I will be traveling from Pa and my bf will be coming along with me. Where are you coming from? -

I personally just went through this while choosing who I wanted to do mine and although I wanted to go with the cheaper dr. I didn't. I chose the more expensive one and I feel good about it now. I'm scheduled for the first week of April.

I am happy to see conversations like this one. I am scheduling to have this done at the beginning of April and there is so much negativity on here that I was almost considering backing out.
