I have a history of passing out cold at the gym...so embarrassing! Luckily my son has been with me every time. I now take a small orange juice with me and have a high protein snack on my way there. The last time I passed out he just looked at me and said....really, again mom! Hahaha

pammycakes replied to Evolving's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I use and love my dehydrator! Its really old but still works. I have done strawberries, banana, pineapples, apples, mangos, baby peppers and marinated mushrooms..... and that was just this week. They are great to throw into my snack bag for work. -
So glad I am not the only one that thinks this way! I am down 30 my first month and feel like there is no difference. People say they can tell but when I look in the mirror I see no change. My husband said the other day " you look a lot smaller". I took a "biggest looser" picture the day of surgery and compare weekly photos. Pretty much the only way to convince myself I am loosing

ME TOO!!! I actually get worried cuz I can't even tell I had surgery. Once or twice I had a weird pain but that's it. I feel bad saying it cuz the people next to me at the surgery center cried out all night. I have not gone off my scheduled diet but I don't feel hungry and I don't feel full, it's just so new! I feel so lucky that I haven't had pain or complications as of yet. Hope it continue this way! -

Can anyone explain how on day 4 I gained 4lbs? I am getting all my liquids in and only drinking sugar free drinks. I will say I started my period on day 2 and just yesterday got the OK to take all my meds, one of which is hydyoclorosine (sp?). I have done everything by the book so to gain weight about makes me want to cry. I originally told myself I wouldn't check my weight till my one week check up......wish I listened to myself

TOMORROW TOMORROW!
pammycakes replied to jennaleigh1992's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Jennaleigh- I am 4 days post surgery. I had all the same feelings/ fears. Up until the night before all I could think about was just surgery surgery surgery!! Then i realized I thought long and hard about having this surgery and even though I there are risks, I would get through it regardless of any complications. I have always been a believer in positive thinking. So for the rest of the night pump yourself up with positive statements and keep telling yourself how much you deserve this. Everything will turn out great and you have a lot of friends in all different stages that are here for you. Good luck tomorrow & check in with us!!! -
I was sleeved on 2/21, I have very minimal pain even to stop my pain killer. TODAY I STARTED MY PERIOD!!! I have very painful periods. At first i thought something was wrong with stomach and started to panic. Then i went to the bathroom and realized what was happening. Must be karma, who can have 80% of their stomach removed and not have pain??? Damn mother nature!!!!grrrr

That is so wonderful!!! Doing a fun run is on the top of my to do list and work my way into larger runs. I am only 3 days post surgery so I have a while still. For now I can cheer on everyone else!!! Congratulations
