  1. I think that you'll get a lot of good answers. My only caution from reading a LOT of posts here is that no two folks are the same. Please don't bank on any "expected" losses aside from the one sure fact -- follow your program and you will lose the weight, no matter how long it takes!

    50 yr old male

I'm the Old guy at 63 with a BMI of 52. I will have surgery on 6-4 and I expect it to go well. I have lost considerable weight over the last 6 months, and I reckon the MD is used to operating on fat people (:-)) Remember, the prefast (liquids) shrink the liver, and the fist step in to "inflate" your abdominal cavity both to give the surgeon room to operate.
  3. Welcome, and know you are among friends, MANY of whom have had the band to sleeve conversion.

    June surgery dates

It will get better after a few days. Keep focused and stay in control of your brain. You will definately notice how many food commercials are on TV!

    June sleevers?

These folks are NOT your friends!?!?! :-( That said, it's important to follow the prep given you (and I am doing the prep diet now as well). It does get easy after the first few days. I do get "quiet", maybe not "mean", and I certainly notice how many commercials for food are on the TV!

    Eating more and more....help

Listen, I'm following you. I WANT you to get on track. I NEED you to get back on track. Your NUT might be the help you need, but as a nurse you know that the sleeve ain't no silver bullet. It helps, but 90% is in the brain!!! Please succeed.

WOW! This ain't no only! You've lost over 5 # a week! Walk around with a bag of sugar for a while as a hint! Your body not not consistantly lose weight, so just keep plugging, and all will be fine. (If you can, don't weigh every day... nothing like seeing a big drop later)... Good luck to you!

  12. From all that I have read, it's still soft foods (soft and moist). But let's let the experts weigh in.
