  1. Unplesant but normal... You are clearing toxins from your body. Make it 3 or 4 days and it WILL get better. BUT if you add carbs back in you have to start the 3/4 days all over again, so try hard to press on through!

    Caloric Intake

And my plan ignores calories at this stage (and does so for 2 months!). Focus is on liquid and protein intake till all is well healed. Then we will shift to the meal plans and caloric intake... Remember, our new stomach is forever so there is no rush!

    I want a salad!

WHY? try it and see what your stomach says. But it may be the pukes (the stomach might not be able to get everything 'ground up' to pass into the small intestine). 'Course, you could just put the salad into a blender and go for it. Actually had a minced brocolli slaw (I am 3 weeks out) yesterday that went sown well.

    Feeling Sad

Don't let the scale fool you... It's when I seem to NOT lose pounds that I see inches go away (I did not lose ANY weight for 2 weeks after surgery). But now I only weigh once a week... helps me from going scale crazy!!!
  23. I too am amazed at how different the plans are!!! Maybe YPMV for Your Plan May Vary?

    Explain head-hunger?

The hormone (Ghrelin) plays some part in feeking hunger. Physical hunger. It's got NOTHING to do with the Taco Bell ad on TV that makes you crazy!!!
