Can't Break This Stall
diannepj1960 replied to freejinn's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Ok this is my story I was sleeved Jan 24,2013 I started out at 264,and i'm now 173,after a month stall,i just loss a pound, they say stalls would happen,i don't count my calories,i try to eat every two hour, because i'm only able to eat small amounts of food.if you are exercising that much make sure you are eating enough calories to burn off I only exercise three days a week, because I know my stomach can not hold that much food,so I don't have much to burn up,so be very mindful on that, after a month stall I was excited to see the scale move again,i only drink water no diet drinks, no fruit juices,no bread..no sweets, every now and than I may take a bite of something sweet, and than i'm happy, lol,, I know it gets hard, but hang in there, you will start losing again and take that scale and put it up,and take it out in three weeks again, don't do that to your self -

I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL I HAD TO TIME MY SELF EVERY TWO HOURS BECAUSE I'M NEVER HUNGRY,BUT THE KEY TO LOSING WEIGT IS EATING,AND YOU HAVE TO EAT IN ORDER FOR YOU WEIGHT TO CONTINUE TO DROP,THAT WILL PREVENT STALLS,I PRAY THAT YOU FEEL BETTER IN TIME IT WILL GET BETTER,,sorry about the caps

Before and after (so far!)
diannepj1960 replied to BriDawn's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
you look great... -
I'm sure you will be fine, enjoy
-
once your body adjust it will level off and you will never be hungry, and you will have to remind your self to eat,i had to set my timer to eat every two hour,we have to remember the key to losing is eating..and I found out when I smell the foods I can not have,it helps me to just take a big smell, and it tricks your mind to think you are eating it,and the craving goes away
-
No i'm 6 months out and i'm eating one now,it's better than eating ice cream with all the sugar
-
Do ppl not lose at all?
diannepj1960 replied to miangr's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Yes you have to eat eating is the key to losing weight,i set my timer every two hours to remind my self to eat, because i'm ever hungry.and also I had to stop my treadmill for a while and I started losing faster.you may not be eating enough to burn,so make sure you eating,so don't get discourage it will start dropping again -
That's great!! well I was sleeved in Jan 24I was 264 and now i'm 179,i was wearing a 22 i'm now a size 10 and it is an amazing feeling...
-
But are you eating enough,i have to time my my self to make sure i'm eating every two hours because I can not eat much anyway so my weight is steady dropping also I had to stop exercising for a while to watch and see what my body was doing when I hit a stall,i was burning up more calories than I was eating, the key to losing is eating,i will start back walking again, just giving my body time, and it's working for me so you have to eat and eat lol,,just because you are eating solids does not mean you are getting enough in your system to burn up,and you weight wil stop dropping, and also inches will not show on the scale.so stay encourage you will start losing again
