Ok so Im 3 days post op and I have killer hungerpains!

I do S/F jello in the morning 7;00-7;30am 2 tbsp every 10 min then 7:30-10:30am 16oz nectar 1 scoop with water 1 oz every 10 min 10;30-12;00 10oz. 1 c both with 1 scoop of protein scoop. 1;00-2;00pm 12oz.caffeine free hot tea 1oz every 10min 2:30-5:45 20oz Isopure with crystal lite in it or any kind of protein shake with water 6;00-7:00pm broth 1 c again every 10 min I do use 1oz.cups to drink out of 7:00-8:15 pm crystal light 1oz every 10 min 8;50-9;30 2oz sugar free popsicle or Italy ice this is a sample my Nuts gave me then I take my 2nd multivitamin i drink my protein throughout the day you need to get about 32-64 oz fluid a day...I didn't do Isopure every long i hate the test I like nectar.I have to get 65-7g of protein a day!!Read the book weight loss surgery for dummies help me all so you tube I hope this helps and yahoo.com group chat I hope this help.... -

As soon as you get full or think you are Stop!! I use my Iphone timer set for 15-20 mins to eat slow then I reset it for 10-15 mins after to give my head time to know it's full you are re wiring your brain on how to eat in your new way of life ask your Nut on how many cals and protein you need in a day it will help you will know if you eat to much the pain will hit you hard...Good Luck!! -

I can't drink muscle mike it makes me stick and yes it take me forever to shop I'm reading labels all the time..That will do it magnesium citrate I had diarrhea for the 1st 3-4 days of my per op I'm better now 10 days now but if I eat to fast boy o boy I pay for it.I all so had diarrhea about 3-4 days of post op it's all the liquids and the change in your diet hang in there per op is the hardest part and the 3-4 days of post op but every day gets better and better Good Luck with your life!! -

Walking walking and more water and protein maybe changing up your exercise I had to lower my cals a little and it help it takes time in your recovery! -

I couldn't take any pills hold hard to get down I have ever thing liq or chewable cut them in two try tums get more protein in you will help with the hunger and walking will help I have stall and now I have up my water and walking more and then the weight is coming off again..IT takes time in your recovery!! -

I agree with TexasGeo walking helps a lot and just slow down you had major surgery and recovery takes time you just had about 85% of your stomach remove my Dr said it about 4 mos be fore you can real take on food Good Luck It gets better every day ..Good Luck!!! -

Yes my Dr. did put it be hind your right ear the night before surgery and keep it on till you get home and I put a new one on for 2 days I get stick easy from all the pain meds they give you and not much in your stomach Good Luck!! I am 10 days post op .. -

Eating to fast will make you feel that away my Dr said it takes about 4mos for the stomach to get back on track you had a surgery that remove 85% of your stomach out time will help but get all of your protein In I have to get 65g-70g a day Good Luck!! I also use my timer on my Iphone to help me to slow down..

I am 10 days post op I can relate so I walk drink more water but I can have both and I put protein power in it also I can do jello and I can have Italian Ice also S/F popsicle it has save me get more protein It will help the hunger will past..Good Luck It gets better day by day... -

I'm about 10 days out (postop) I can only do a little at a time I set my timer on my Iphone for every 10- mins and then set it again for 15 mins when I eat to slow down I use baby slips cups and do 1-oz.at a time I all so use baby spoons.. and slip slips If I eat to fast man...o man PAIN...good luck to your new life It takes time for the brain get use to a new stomach size... -

same here went and walk WalMart with a friend them the dollar tree now I'm drained try B12 it helps...My Dr told me to walk a lot work up to 30 mins Not to do any any after 3 week do not pick up anything over 1lbs no pushing or pulling and a little bending over just walk around in side your house and work your self up to 10 mins Good Luck!! -

Pixie, you go in the DR.office with your head held high and remember why you are doing this for a longer happy and healthy life..Keep a good support group around you who is your Dr. Just take it one day at a time, go to tube there a lot of helpful info; there also.. -

Hi, Doing better every day it's been slow going doing this at 54yrs but every day is better and better I was scared also but so ready and glad I did this wish I could have been able to have this done in my 40's.Get in some kinda of group in your home town it will help good luck with your psych eval.. I was there for about 3 hrs..they want to see if you are a alcoholic ect.. a lot of people don't cope very will after weight loss so take your time and you will be ok don't let them get in your head to much...you know how psych Drs. can be I read a lot from a great book weight loss for Dummies being scared is part of your new life good luck you will be fine.. -

I have only lost 15lbs from start date had my sleeve march 5th and my weight is at stall also going to get more water I feel fine If I drink to fast or eat my jello to fast man o man the pain any one else.. -

post op week today I had a hard time also but getting better hard to get all my water and protein in and keeping it down I have lost about 15lbs and now I have stop I know I need to get more water down been hard to do ..Good luck everyone It does get better day by day!! -
