Try GasX and do more walking I had my sleeve 3-4-13 and it's still hard to drink water try a baby slippy cup it's help with the air you take in when drinking...Good luck with your new life!! -

Don't be to hard on yourself I have also stall I'm 54yrs old had my sleeve 3-4-13 I know it's going to be slower for me due to my age.. Dr said this is part of the weight loss.I have up my water and more protein and been walking walking and more walking and It will help you get back on track ..Be good to yourself... -

Sleeve march 4th I have lost 20lbs and one paint size and I'm at a stall for week now my Dr.said not to worried It will come off..To up your water and protein and walk walk..So hang in there I only weight my self 1x week I wont to lose my weight slow I know it took a long time to get the weight on and it will take time for it to come off...Good Luck!! -

I am 54yrs old had my sleeve March 4th and I am so glad I did this wish I could have done this sooner I'm off my high Blood pressure meds..Lost 20lbs and down one size I am at a stall but that is ok..As for the pre op liquid diet I'm glad my Dr had me do the diet it help me for my post op sage 1 and 2. Welcome to the group and good luck with your new life.. -

I use my Iphone timer to help me to slow down I am 17 days post op I can only do 2-3 table spoons at one setting I can only get maybe 1/2 egg white ...I weight everything I eat and drink get your protein in will help with hunger head hunger is a hard one for me I chew s/f gum and I read a lot and go for walks and it helps...I love myfitnesspal app !! -

I had my sleeve March 4th and I lost and add and lost and now I have stall I saw my Dr this week and he said it was ok this will happen just up your water and protein and walk walk it will come off I don't weigh myself every day I have loss more inch then weight it take time to get your new body use to everything... wow...I was on clear liquids for 2 weeks and full liquids for 4 weeks and soft foods 2 -3 weeks and I was on 2 weeks per op..It's been hard not to eat real food...I have been eating re fried beans low fat with 2% cheese with avocado in it very thin it was nice for a change...I can only do about 2tbs at time...when I can eat real food it will be u peel me shrimp and bake fish of some kind I do know you can not eat rice...I can not eat sugar it makes me sick every thing is sugar free what a new life we are going to have .. I know I will regaining my appetite again with out fear..

Congrats!!!! on your weigh loss...I can not eat any sugar at all most sleeve I know can't eat sugar I use splenda a lot.I like Italy Ice sugar free and hard candy helps ..and as for fry food can not I can taste the oil..my taste buds have change a lot I love Greek Yogurt ...Good luck!!! -

Whoohoo on your date for your sleeve I had my sleeve March 4th good luck on your per op diet it was the hardest thing for me to do keep drink lots of water and get all your protein in and chew sugar free gum it helps good luck on your new life you will be glad you did this just take it one day at a time and you will be fine I read this book weight loss surgery for dummies it's was a lot of help...

Wow..I am only on soft liquid diet for 4 weeks then soft foods slowly for 4 weeks then really foods very slowly ..I'm on stage #2 just try new things I can eat for stage 2 Had my sleeve March 4th I can't think that far a head but there are great cook book's on line with amazon and Bariatric.com good luck!!

My Dr. said one year out ask your Dr. not fore sure if medical will paid for it. if it's medical necessity medicare might pay for it they have guide lines may be your Dr can give you a letter. I know some one who did for her back having a hard time carrying the weight.. Good Luck!! -

More protein will help with hunger need about 65g a day drink protein drinks like nectar flavored whey protein sugar free gum Dannon Greek yogurt also sugar free Italy Ice hot tea's sugar free hot coco broth helps good luck pre op is the hardest part for me had my sleeve March 4th glad I did it wish I could have done it sooner in my life I feel great and off my high blood pressure pill I also did a lot of reading and walking help to get your mine off food.. Good Luck You can Do This!!!

I have up my water and protein and I lost 1.6 lbs in a day I slip on protein water all day I take a big mug every were I go ..Try Nectar fruit flavored whey protein isolate 23g.. and I change it up with Hawaiian Punch sugar free..Nectar is the best I get sample pack to fine witch one I like the most ...I all so use instantly dissolving protein power (ProCel) over my food like broth also put Pb2 in my protein shake I know it's hard to eat but you need too it will help you feel better please no diet pills I know my sleeve couldn't take it...give it time it took us a long time to put on the weight it will take time to get it off slower you go better for your skin.. I have loss inch then weight happy with that I don't weight every day any more but just had my March 4th..Be Good to your self ... -
