January sleevers......what's your weight loss so far?

This post is just what I needed. I had surgery Jan. 8 and seem to have been stuck at 40 lbs lost for a couple weeks now. Here I was thinking I was "failing" but I'm actually within a normal range of the rest of you. Maybe now I can stop stressing about it and move on. -
what's up with ny scale?
long2bethin replied to long2bethin's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
It's supposed to be accurate up to 100 lbs above my weight and it is level but thanks for the thoughts. It's just weird -
So my scale kept giving me 20 different weights when I weighed myself so I went out and bought a new scale. Guess what. Same thing I get a different number varying by about a 10 lb range every time I weigh. The kids stand on the scale and they get the same number each time. I've followed the directions for resetting it, no change. Anyone else have the same issue? I don't reaaly think I lost 14 lbs over night. Would be nice though!

My "peoples" suggested using baby spoons. Set it down between each bite.

Just wanted to add way to go to all of you. It's not easy by any means and anything less than what we started at is a step in the right direction. -
January Newbies ! Progress ?

I was sleeved on Jan. 8 th and I am down 34 lbs. I have been struggling to get all my food in though. I can eat fine, I just have a hard time making myself eat when I'm not hungry, and I'm not hungry. -

My doctor has me taking two of the tums ultra 1000 a day for calcium. I have been swallowing my biotin since day 1. If a pill is large I just break it in half assuming its something that can be broken of course.

This is terrible. I hope it doesn't stay this way if that is what it is. Thank you for the reply -
I am new to this site, have not even figured out how to create a profile yet but I am hoping some kind soul will answer. For those of you that have had a leak or know a fair amount about it. Could you please give me your opinon. I had surgery on the 8th. I had a lap band removed and coverted to the sleeve. I only mention that because it took longer and I had a significant amount of scar tissue on the stomach. I don't think it will change the answer to my question at all. Last night my family and I went out to eat for the first time since surgery. We went to Culvers because I thought I would be able to eat some mashed pot. I felt fine last night I was only able to eat a hand full of bites. But I woke up in the middle of the night and have had terrible diarrhea all day. I can't bring myself to even try to eat anything. I don't have terrible stomach pain I just feel fluish. From what I have read it seems to me if this were a leak I would be much more uncomfortable. My stomach keeps rolling but no real bad pain so I don't think its a leak. The other thing I'm wondering is I know we are not supposed to get dumping syndrome but some have said that they have. Is this a short lived condition or would it be possible the gravy was to much for me and that is what I am experiencing? Otherwise I'm guessing I just have a touch of the flu, I just don't want to ignore anything I should be concerned with. Thank you for your responded in advance.

I would think if you can get it smooth enough you could even have it on purred. (Which just means no distinctive chunks). If you can't get it that smooth I would say mechanical soft
