Congrats on your weightloss so far. I am also one week post up today and I am down 21lbs( 15 lbs pre-up and 6 lbs post-up) I hope I am not a slow looser.

Hey Misty i havent tried any sugar free popsicle. To be honest I dont like the after taste of sugar free products. That artificial sweetner leave a bad after taste in my mouth. What i ahve been drinking is coconut water which goes down real smooth and taste yummy to me:). I cant over do it though because it contains 9g of carbs per 16 oz and 100 calories. That after taste ughhh!!!!

Hi hazel eyes my liquid intake is improving a bit. It dont hurt as much to swallow. Coconut Water goes down well for me but i cant drink too much as it contains 9g carb and 100cal per 16oz. I fall asleep real easily now. I could be talking with you and then in the middle i will be asleep. Not sure y this is. Other than those minor complaints i felt as if i didnt have a surgery. thank god! Oh i forget to mention i have an allergic reaction to the surgical tapes. Its not too bad though. All my fault they did ask me if i have one but i said no. Never had a major surgery so i did not know i was allergic my self. As for liquid intake im at about 50oz not including my broths or shakes. My mind still think about food i guess that will adjust over time. I have to keep reminding myself i cant eat those stuff aleast rite now:(

my headaches lasted a day. I actually think it was gas pain I really dont know because i am not a doctor but i think alot of people gas bubble went out the top or bottom none of mine went out either way. i have to actuallu forced myself to burp at timesi I actually think it went up into my head. I dont know i am just guessing.

hi Tiffany i will be flying out today back home. I cant wait to be finally home. The only pain i had that was real serious was my first night. It did get better as everyone advice as time goes by. I did have issues getting my liquid in due to heartburn n gas bubble. Its getting a bit better now. Ive been trying to get my walks in. Other than that no issues. Oh forget to mentioned i did had a real bad headache.

Well the day is almost here. One more day and i will be off to mexico for my life changing procedure. I am exciting but nervous. Praying that all will go well.

Thank you its seems when i heat the water it goes down a bit better not the best but something i could try to tolerate. My surgeon suppose to come by and remove my staples today. I am going to mention to him my headaches. Thanks katikati for the headsup:)

And now is this headacheeeee. ive been having this pounding headaches since yesterday.

Yeah i didnt know a person could feel this horrible from drinking water:)

Okay i tried to warm it and it did go down a little better. I had some crystal light i had brought with me going to try that. I haven't tried any ice chip. Thats something im going to try and see if it works. Thanks for all the helpfull suggestions:)

Im here now in tijuana. I also had surgery with dr garcia. i felt safe no problems at all.

In less than seven hours I will be on my flight to mexico for my gastric sleeve. So excited to finally be on my journey to the other side. Cant wait to cross over. :)

I woke up this morning felling better than yesterday. I had a barium test done. The results came back and i was able to get a cup of tea and juice. I drank both without any problems. The nurses has been refilling my meds regular. I got meds for pain, blood clots, nasuea, infection and some other stuff. They even gave me a bed slipper and compression stocking i did not have to bring mine:) melissa my coordinator, dr luna one of surgeon and dr val my assign physian stop by today for.a visit. I have been walking every chance i get.

U will love it. Everyone here is super cool:) u going to be just fine.
