I'm 25, and my husband has been on board from the beginning. I told my family once it was 'actually happenning'. Now that I'm 4.5 months out from surgery, if someone sees me and says "Wow! You've lost weight- you look great!" or something to that effect, I say "Thanks, I have!" If they ask how, or what diet I'm using, etc, I'll tell them I had weight loss surgery to help. I don't want to hide. If I can help other people too, I might as well bare myself. That is the biggest obstacle is that I'm kind of putting myself out there, but so far I've only had positive responses, and all of my friends are very supportive and proud of me. This is NOT an easy way out. This is a tool.

The change in blood pressure is great!

That does make a difference- you must feel great.

Make sure to keep your protein levels up! I also take biotin, folic acid, and my multi-vitamin... when I remember them.

Whoops! Keep that abdominal pillow around.
