    Question.....

Thanks everyone for your info. I try to eat 5-6 small meals a day but just can't. I'll have two poached yolks on toast with crust off for breakfast and then can eat almost all of a small quiche (bit smaller then a pie) have some crackers in the afternoon and then if I'm lucky 1/3 cup of meat and veg or something. Had a down day yesterday as I caught gastro off of my kids and was sick all Saturday night and very tired and couldn't eat yesterday so was braving very upsetting. Dietician wanted me to have 2 protein shakes a day on top of what I have been eating but I struggle and it makes me feel extremely ill
  3. Quick question, has anyone on here had the sleeve and lost too much weight and still eat very very very little even 6 months out? Can the surgeon do surgery to try and stretch your stomach?
  4. I'm 29 in August, thank you so much I do feel. Lot younger
  5. Wow I can't believe how quick this last 6 months have gone. I remember first week out thinking how am I going to get through this as it really was difficult in the beginning adjusting to new foods, new portions, limitations but the fact that I have reached goal has made me feel do proud of what I have achieved and who I now. My confidence has increased 10 fold, I'm not grumpy and down in the dumps and I am so much happier that my children and husband have seen the new happy go lucky me that my husband remembers 10 years ago when we first met. So I was sleeved 23rd September last year weighing in at 90kg at 157cm. Although my height hasn't changed lol I am currently 33.4kg down sitting at 56.6kg with a normal (or what they call normal) bmi. Here is a before and after photo. Would love to hear about other peoples journeys xx

    Coffee and pains

Thank you I'm on nexium to reduce the acid, it seems to have gone it's just always concerning after surgery when things happen out of the ordinary. xx
  7. Hey there, I am 3 months post op and things have been going very well but in the past 2-3 days I get really severe pain in my stomach after having a coffee in the morning for an hour up to 2-3 hours. I've always drank coffee and had no issues until now. Has anyonelse had this problem? Any idea what could be happening? Thanks
  8. Ghill27 we sound very similar. I'm feeling a lot better today with hubby back at work gives me a chance to get back into my routine so feeling somewhat normal. Weird thing is when hubby's home all I can think about is all the yummy good I want to eat but when's he back at work I don't even think about it
  9. Thanks everyone for your input and motivational words. I seem to be having a better day today. I suppose I didn't consider that there would be ups and downs in the journey. Xx
  10. Feeling exactly the same and I was sleeved 23rd aswell
  11. Hi there, this is my first time posting on here and I really didn't want this to be a negative thing but am wondering if anyonelse went through the same thing. I have struggled with postnatal depression for around 2.5 years now and am on 150mg of Zoloft. I thought (silly me) that straight after surgery I would be feeling heaps better especially with already losing 5kg in a week but I'm really feeling that my depression has gotten worst. I don't know if the lack of energy and limited liquid intake has affected it (I'm sure it has) but I just feel really down to the point that it's affecting my relationship with my husband and children. Is this normal? Will it pass? This is meant to be a happy time, a new beginning

    Any March Sleevers?

Hey everyone, I'm new to this. I'm being sleeved March 19th at 5"2 and weighing around 90kg. Had band a couple of years ago but after 3 months my stomach slipped up over the band (might I add I had had no complications and everything was going perfect before this) and had to have emergency surgery and get it removed. 2 years later and around 10-12kg heavier I now have the courage to join all the sleevers out there. Got to admit I am really nervous seen as things didn't work out to well for me with the band. By the way I live in Western Australia
