Thank you everyone, just reading these posts has calmed me down. I am just going to keep at it and I know the weight will come off eventually.

Hi there - so I am 3 weeks post op from my gastric sleeve. I lost 15 pounds in the preop diet and another 15 the first week after surgery. I have not lost a pound since then. I am getting in between 60gram to 80grams of protein a day. My calorie intake ranges from 500 to 700. I am drinking 60oz of fluids a day and am walking for an hour. Is this normal? I am getting frustrated. Some changes in my clothing size but nothing significant.

So I am getting sleeved on July 16th. Will I be able to take care of myself and dogs or should I hire in nurse? I know it sounds crazy but trying to gauge my needs.

I will have someone drive me home. I don't have to walk the dog they can head out to yard. But didn't know about the bending to feed them and stuff. -

Congratulations! How are things going with you during the pre-op diet? I am doing ok but definitely missing the crunch. Lol. However, I am staying strong as I know it will make the surgery easier.
-
I know! Where are you getting your done? The first couple of days on the liquid ore-op diet was hard but now I find it easier. How about you?

Try some circuit training. Running for one minute then walking for two, then back up to running for about 30 minutes. After a five minute warm up and a five minute cool down. It really jumpstarts the metabolism. Good luck

Awesome! I start my pre-op diet tomorrow. Trying to it slowly. The last week I have been subbing two meals with shakes. How is your journey going so far? How long was it before you could drive?
