January sleevers......what's your weight loss so far?

weighed 232 day of surgery (1-21-2013), as of today I weight 206, down 26 pounds. -
My opinion is go totally bald if you are losing a lot of hair. Never, ever, ever, ever do a "comb over" to try and hide a bald area. that is totally uncool. A lot of men look really sexy bald, but not so hot when they are trying to hide it.

when I went to the movies a few weeks ago I packed in my purse a cheese stick and a dill pickle, because they did not sell them at the theatre. then I bought a bottled water.

99 lbs down and Onederland!

you look fantastic for 199 pounds! you must work out too. How tall are you? -
It's been almost 2 months since my surgery and I am a zombie! I need at least 10 hours of sleep, can't focus, no energy. I am taking my vitamins twice a day, plus the B12. My calories average between 600-950. My protein averages between 60-80 a day. My hubby has been great up until yesterday. He got aggravated because I can't remember what he just told me 30 minutes before and I'm not working right now and he wants to know what I'm doing all day because there is plenty of work to do around the house. I do basic house cleaning, but I only spend about an hour a day doing housework. I feel lazy and there is so much I want to do. I had more energy early on than I do now. I take synthroid for thyroid disease, wonder if my dosage meeds adjusting since surgery? oAny advice?

I'm like you. I was looking forward to getting tipsy on less, but it seems to affect me no differently than before surgery.

January sleevers......what's your weight loss so far?
Success2013 replied to pottergirl's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
weight at Surgery Jan. 21, 2013 was 232, currently around 212, total lost 20 pounds. I'm 5'6" tall. It's been 7 weeks today. I lost 15 pounds the first 4 weeks. Now I've been teetering up and down with 1-2 pounds for the past 11 days, stuck at the same weight. I had set a goal of losing 30 pounds by 8 weeks, but I don't see that happening. To be honest I get quite frustrated when people say "I'm a slow loser", when they are so obviously not. That makes those of us who truly are losing slow feel worse. -
if you are tracking your carbs, do you count the net carbs (like you do on Atkins Diet) or do you count the actual carbs?

All of my December sleevers...
Success2013 replied to blkdiamond377's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
we are around the same stats. I was sleeved 1/21/13 and I was 232 DOS and now I'm 212, anxious to get to Onederlamd, but it's going slow. -
y'all are all hilarious! the thong thing reminds me of a Facebook post I made a few years ago. I was going out to have some fun with my photography hobby and I posted "looking for some unique and fun thongs to photograph, any suggestions?" it was suppose to be "things", not thongs. but I definitely got suggestions. haha

Soft foods like yogurt and shakes are totally different than meats etc. I can drink a whole shake or eat a whole yogurt, but if I have more than 2 ounces of meat I will be in pain for hours b -
I totaled the nutrition counts for all 3 ingredients used and divided by 2 (half on one) to get the numbers I posted above.

okay I needed a change today so I made Quesadillas for lunch. If you have half of one it is 125 calories, 8 gr Protein and 10 gr carbs (3 if you count net carbs, because I used low carb tortillas that had 15 gr Fiber each) 1 Carb Balance Flour Tortilla 1/4 cup Mexican Blend cheese 2 1/2 slices of Canadian Bacon I put the cheese and bacon on one side of the tortilla and folded it over. then I cooked on a small skillet sprayed with Pam over medium heat and flipped over after about 3 minutes. cook until cheese is melted inside. Then I cut it into 4 small pieces and ate 2 of them for lunch. You could also eat with 2 tablespoons of salsa or sour cream.

this is a pc of the kind of tortillas I used. I think there are lower carb varieties out there, just couldn't find them at the grocer.
