    Loose skin ?

I have some, work hard at working out. I am only 4+ mos out and I am told it will continue to tone for up to 2 years after surgery. I'd trade some loose skin for being 60+ lbs heavier! I do weight training, yoga, running/walking and some cardio classes- I TRY to worn out each day of the week. Good Luck!

    Alchohol

I drank at 10 weeks out, with no complications. My doctor told me I am ok. Just watch empty calories, ulcers and transfer of addiction (food for alcohol) I drink seldomly during a given month with no problems. Lots of people have their own thoughts on this- and it can be a touchy subject. I drink beer and cider, not liquor- I don't like it.

    Need some encouragement!

I am January and close to your loss total. The good thing for us is our skin. Losing slower allows it to keep up. Good luck!
  9. Had my surgery Monday morning and by Friday afternoon I was driving, off my pain meds and at a basketball game on Saturday morning. Good luck to you!
  10. I am three months out and hair is falling out like crazy! Scares me, but I do have think hair to start. Any idea when it stops?

I am 3 mos out and down 50 lbs. I am happy- ad hoping

    Any regrets?

I am 3 mos. out today- haven't regretted it once. If anything, I wish I had it done sooner. Down -50lbs and 32 inches in 3 mos. (starting weight 265 and 40 yrs old)
  13. Oh and regarding gum. I chewed some day 4 after surgery and accidents swallowed. Called my surgeon in a panic ad he assured me I would be just fine- and I was. I pretty much chew gum every day, with no issues. Today actually marks 3 mos. for me exactly.
  14. The hospital will have everything you need. I'd suggest bringing your robe to keep you more covered and warm when walking the halls. I walked them over and over at all hours of the day/night. Good Luck to you!
  15. Congrats to you! Just last week I too was able to move from the Women's World Section at the store to the regular misses. I was over the moon happy! Keep up the good work!
