Any March Sleevers?

So sorry to hear that. Will keep you in my prayers! -
You are probably just fine. My guess is you won't be able to drink as much as you think. I weaned off caffeine prior to surgery so I didn't have the headache on top of everything else. For me, it's the ritual of the morning cup. I make a cup of decaf every morning. Pour half into another cup and stick it in the freezer. Enjoy a few sips of of the hot decaf and then about half an hour later use the coffee in the freezer for my morning Protein shake. Throw in the coffee, half a cup of skim milk and a scoop of chocolate Protein powder, hand full of ice and while it's not Starbucks, I have a nice little Mocha. As long as you can keep up with your Water intake, you are probably fine to have a few sips. Good luck!

I have had a few of those days. Most days I am energetic and get lots done, then one day, I feel tired and sleepy. I have learned to listen to those days. -
I think mine are permanent. I'm 2 weeks today and not a single one is even peeling at the edge.

Try Isopure. It's light tasting and is 2 grams of protein per oz. 1 20oz bottle has 40 grams of protein. It is by far the the most painless way to get the protein in. Comes in several flavors -

Some idiot: What happened? You: I had abdominal surgery. Idiot: What kind? You: The kind that involves the abdominal area. End of conversation. -
I make my marinara from scratch and have a killer recipe for a spicy garlicky meatball if you would like it.

Sleeved on the 6th. My day usually consists of cup of decaf. Take half of that and stick it in the freezer. About half hour after that, I take the decaf, 1/2 cup of skim milk and scoop of unjury chocolate shake and have a "Mocha". 24 grams of protien. lunch is 1/3 cup of tomato soup make with skim milk. Probably a few grams of Protein but some much needed carbs. most all afternoon is Isopure. Try to get about a bottle a day but alway at leat 12 oz. 40 grams of protein. dinner is another 1/3 cup of soup. Evening Premire Protein Shake. 30 grams. I am getting at least 60 oz of Water alone. I start the minute I wake up. Thank goodness I have always been a huge water drinker so that has come in handy. not to mention the isopure and usually a cup of herbal tea before bed. Approx. 70-90 grams of protein per day and got the water thing down. Also waking about 3 miles a day, split in 2 walks.

Not able to Drink Water
newat52 replied to Look At The New Me's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
You have to get those liquids in. Even if it one sip at a time. Perhaps try crushed ice chips? I had those the first few days and it worked well for me. Good luck to you. -
So glad all is well! Get some rest!

Congrats! Truly and accomplishment! Keep it up!
