Yes that's the one. I know I'm not allowed to have it. I called my NUT to see if I could have plain lettuce to get me by. Not allowed . I admire all of you that stuck to the diet. It's very difficult! I'm still on board, as of now! Thanks to vst!

My surgeon puts his patients on blood thinner injections for 3 weeks post op. I'm nervous about the needles but ill be defiantly doing them -

I feel the same way and have been crying!! I wish us strength! Lots of it! -
Good luck to you. I'm still in pre-op but that was super easy. I had blood work, chest x-ray, spoke to nurse and nut, and had cardiac clearance. Took about 3 hrs total. Almost passed out during blood but that's always my case. Good luck and don't stress about tomorrow

Thanks for the encouragement!! And you are doing so well! My diet consists of protein shakes, veggie broth, sugar free water ice and Popsicles. And sugar free jello. I keep looking at the paper thinking I'm missing something like at least a meal a day or some vegetables.... Not the case, it says NO FOOD in bold letters

I was so emotional reading about the poor man that passed away. As I'm sure everyone else was. I was defiantly having second thoughts. I know I get the stockings and on meds 3 weeks out to prevent blood clots but there are still risks. It's scary and a hard decision. I wish us all the best. -
