Preparing for surgery on June17th. Had all my medical clearances done including psych evaluation. Trying to get my ducks in a row for liquid diet of Optifast in four weeks.

Wondering what preparations people are making for surgery. Did you clean out frig and food cabinets? Other things?

Hi goofyfurl I had my band done in Delaware 7 years ago and only was able to take off 25lbs. Had I known these results before surgery, I never would have gone through with it. Had my band out this past February and I am scheduled for sleeve next month. Due to the failure of the band, I have alot of reservations so its good to hear you are doing well after your traumatic beginning with the band. Best of luck to you. -

If you had a lot of scar tissue from the band, they may have left more stomach to be safe which would cause a slower weight loss because you can eat more. -
