    HumorMe-hope you can rest tonight and will pray for easy breazy surgery and recovery. Keep us posted when you can. Mizzchris- I'm sept 12 too preop was rough first few days but seem to be doing okay now. I'm excited amd nervous all in one.

    Peppermint gum helps me a lot when my family is eating something that smells yummy. And for whatever reason on a raodtrip everything screams eat here lol.

    My husband wanted to go to movies and I didn't think I'd survive it so we stayed in. And I'm only on day 4 of 14 on liquid preop. At least your movie was funny enough to divert your focus.

    I start my pre op on the 5th as well. Started the liquid diet yesterday so far so good.

    My scheduled day is September 12. I do all my pre-op on Sept. 5. I will start my liquid preop diet on Aug. 29. Time seems to be moving along at a good clip. ..so excited.

    Im Sept. 12 in Virginia. Super duper excited. Will start a 2 week liquid diet August 29. The process went quick and without hiccup. Hoping to continue in that manner.

    I too would like to know this. I am new to the area, we live at fort belvoir, va. I have an appointment with my pcm to discuss about wls. I'd like to know more about the process and the doctors here if any one has that information they'd like to share.

    Hello all, My name is Malinda, my husband is Army and we live in Fort Belvoir Virginia. I'm tired of the yo-yo weight loss/gain game and have an appointment to speak to my pcm about WLS on Feb.5. My bmi is 38.9 I have high blood pressure and I think sleep apnea. Hopefully I can get qualified for surgery so I can move on with my life and focus on what is important and not my weight.
