Yes honey, their is a very noticeable difference, congrats BariatricBeautie....keep up your good work -
Happy to say that my surgery went awesome. Was in OR at 1515 on 3/19 and home at 1245 on 3/20. Fortunately no gas pain.....but alot of soreness and the worst was feeling the drain being taken out. I'm doing well with my protein, jello, broth and all fluids. I'm feeling good about my decision to do WLS and even better that I have so many prople to share and exchange our positive and negative experiences with. Thanks you all for your bravery and just doing what's best for you.

Any March Sleevers?
kimkai75 replied to futuresleever's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I was sleeved on the 19th and so far have lost 1lb. I have no appetite and have to work hard to drink a little bit of anything. I'm ok with one pound and will not be stressing over how much I lose in what amount of time because it's a given....IT'S GOING TO HAPPEN.. i am a bit disappointed in my intake....but my family and friends are working with me to increase my fluids and I know I risk dehydration and a hospital stay if I don't stay on top of my A game. So thanks for all the feedback and support ~BariatricBeauties~ -

Error: awesome losing winning team

Well from what I was told by my surgeon, it's to get rid of extra Fluid around your incision, the fluid needt a port of exit otherwise a buildup of fulids could cause dangerous complications...however if a surgeon chooses not to use a drain that seems fine too because afterall they are the trained professionals and hopefully do whats best for their patients on an individual basis...Thanks Ms. Skinnie never been so proud to be on a awesome winning team ~TeamBariatricBeauties~

Any March Sleevers?

Today's the big day for me....I'm scheduled for 1330... I don't feel nervous , scared or anything "yet" However I am a little emtional because....I'm going to miss the woman I've seen in the mirror for the last 15 years. Yes I absolutely want to get down to a healthy smaller size NOT SKINNY, but I've gotten use to this woman and forced myself to be comfortable and love the skin I was in.....?will I feel way looking in the mirror 6 months from now? Only time will tell. -
Ok 19th sleevers....let's do this. 1330 check-in at Kaiser. Afternoon surgery is a first for me, but better late than never : )

Any March Sleevers?
kimkai75 replied to futuresleever's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Well his surgery was Feb 27 and according to ppl who grew close to him he passed on the 11th....I'm not 100% sure and would hate to post inaccurate information out of respect for him and his loved ones. I'm only mentioning it because he was and is a brother to GST. We need to keep his memory alive. -

I need to whine - dress sizes
kimkai75 replied to thehappycat's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Dropping sizes usually happens with losing inches and the shape of your body. Not to worry, the sizes are going to drop. = ) -
