This might be the one occasion where 'chew and spit' is okay.

I saw that Krispy Kreme made a sloppy Joe between 2 glazed donuts. I don't think I could even stomach that!

3 mos out. I have had toast and it was fine. I want to stay away from yeasty bread so I haven't even tried yet. -
Popcorn is the thing I miss the most. 3 mos out but I am staying away for awhile- see my surgeon on July 3rd but. Think he will say 6 mos minimum. I love to go to the movies and it is not as much fun!

Societal judgement of "unattractive" versus "attractive" people - a topic on human nature
futureloser replied to Fiddleman's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
I have always felt confident in my professional life but not so much in personal interactions. I always worry that I don't hold my own in a conversation and feel that people tend to ignore my presence. Not sure that its my weight that puts people off or if I let my low self esteem come through and it wouldn't matter about the weight. When I lost a lot of weight previously, I felt more confident and felt that people paid more attention to me, but it is probably me being more comfortable in social situations so I put myself out there and become more interesting. -

Best thing after surgery and whats been the hardest?
futureloser replied to Reigo's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am 3 mos out. The best thing is not carrying an oxygen tank with me and the hardest was taking pills until I was okay end to swallow them at 6 wks. The Pre Op diet was actually the worst probably if we want to talk pre surgery. -
Me too

Sure!

I bought something called Just Cheese. They are crunchy but way too salty. Little round discs of cheese. I have to say this- I love cheese, probably because I was born in a third world country.

How are the march 2013 sleevers doing?
futureloser replied to Kitkat101484's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Sleeved March 11. Sw 243 Cw 195. I have no problems - no pain, nausea, etc. I am at about 600-700 calories a day. My breathing issues have resolved themselves. I have blood work next week and I am hoping to reduce BP and/or Diabetes meds. Ann -
You will be so happy to get off liquids, you will eat puréed anything! I didn't think I would be able to either, but its part of the deal and it was fine.
