Day 3 post op for me. So far I can do small sips of clear liquids. Today I move to full liquids (protein shakes, soymilk, strained creamed low-fat soups). When does that awful feeling when the liquid hits your stomach go away? It feels like gas and your food are competing for the same space. Ouch!! -

48 hours post op. At home taking it easy. Walking really helps so I'm taking laps around my house every time I get up. Haven't had anything but water,multivitamin, and calcium today. Forgot to weigh myself before surgery but since Thursday will be my weigh in days going forward I'm going to weigh myself today. -

Quick update I gained 3 pounds by my authorization visit on 2/13 Got my surgery date the same day Did pre-adm testing, bootcamp, and final meeting with surgeon yesterday. I can't believe I started this process on 1/21 and will be sleeved on 2/26! -

I'm a 45 yr old mother of a 19 yr old daughter and 11 yr old son. I've just begun thus journey. Pre-PreOp is what I'm considering myself. No surgery date yet. Still working on meeting all my requirements. I've worked in the Human Resources field for most of my career. I'm a Taurus, a natural "encourager" or cheerleader. Huge football fan! -

I've read 3 days for some sleevers and 2 weeks for others. Does anyone know why the difference in number of days?

Good luck!!!! I'm a former runner looking to get back to a pre weight gain and pre ankle injury running status I understand where you are. Please be careful and don't push yourself too hard. You'll get there. I'll be cheering you on. Be sure to keep us posted on your progress.

Ok. My bmi was exactly 35 on Monday 1/21 when I met w/surgeon on Thurs 1/24 it was 34.9 at my 1st Nut appt. He told me I can't lose anymore weight or I won't get approved through my health insurance. Horizon BCBS-NJ. I'm anticipating a March surgery date so I'm nervous about dropping anymore weight before my authorization appt. -
