Thanks for the advice. I have been eating some mash potatoes and cheesy potatoes but it has only been a tablespoon. I was hoping since this was so little that it wouldn't matter. I will stop eating the carbs. I am eating mostly protein. I have eggs, chicken, turkey, shrimp. These have been mixed with light mayo and pureed. I am now off pureed foods as long as I chew everything really well. For dinner I am having some ground beef with spaghetti sauce. It is probably about 2-3 tablespoons and that is it till my snack which usually consists of canned pears, peaches, or Greek yogurt.
I have a really hard time moving my bowels and I need to take laxatives. The only time I seem to lose weight is after I go. I got on the scale this morning and was down 3 lbs. which I was really happy about. But I am afraid I will just put it back on again. I am trying not to be negative and am working on a more positive attitude.
I do have to put the scale away and only weigh myself once a week. Travel Guru I would love it if you would post what you eat. This would help. I think I am in a rut. It seems like I eat the same things over and over again.
