    March sleevers

I was sleeved the 13th of March. I am down 75lbs!! Woo who!!!! Starting weight 258 lbs. I'm 55 and loving my sleeve. I would do it all over again. I have no complaints at all.
  4. I use premium protein shakes from Costco.they are pre-made in a carton 11oz. I keep several in the fridge and have a small cooler that I take with me if I'm going to be away from the house. You can buy the bags that you can put right in the freezer. I got mine at target. They work great.

    Preventing Scaring

You want to buy it as an essential oil. Health food stores carry it. I buy mine from Camden grey.com. But most health food stores carry it.

I'm 5 weeks out and have been on soft foods for a week. I have one more week of soft then on to regular food. Yay! My first soft food was an one egg omelet with cheese. Yummy. I have had no issues at all with food. I've been eating for lunch and sometimes dinner 2oz of paper thin sliced turkey ( lunch meat) with 1 oz slice of muenster cheese roll it up yum. Fills me up.

    Clothes for hospital and after

I wore the same thing home. Yoga pants comfy T-shirt. I'm 5 weeks out and still wear stretchy pants ie yoga workout pants. My jeans bug my belly button incision still when I sit down. Just be comfy.
  11. I was sleeved on 3/13 and it took me 3 1/2 weeks to finally start feeling normal. I'm 55 and I think age has a lot to do with recovery time. I'll be 5 weeks out tomorrow and I'm feeling good. It has helped that I've started soft foods. I drink my premier protein shake from Costco for breakfast. At least I know I'm getting 30gm of protein in right off the bat in the morning. The rest of my protein comes from food. Make sure you are taking your multiple vitamin. My dr told me to take two a day even tho it's only a once a day vitamin. It helps. Hope you get back on your feet soon.
  12. I was sleeved march 13th. And I have the same pain. I asked about it when I went for my 1 week post op. he said it was my spleen shrinking. And that they cut blood vessels during surgery. And the spleen pain would go away in up to 6 weeks. Sorry your going through this I feel your pain.
