Had my surgery on march 28th. My hw on march 14th was 340lbs as of this past week I weigh 255lbs. That's 85lbs in 5 months!! Beyond happy just got to keep going!!!

I had surgery March 28th in TJ with Dr Illan and the wonderful Omar! I have lost 87lbs and couldn't be happier still have about 80 to go. I loved my experience with BajaBariatrics and look forward to going back next summer just to visit!

I had surgery with Dr Illan on march 28th of this year. To date I have lost 87lbs and wouldn't change a thing! My experience was amazing and I want to go back this summer to visit! Omar is by far the greatest person/friend to have thru this! (He is your patient coordinator) he actually had the surgery by Dr Illan in April so he can be a big help bc he's experienced it all himself. 3.5 months out! Right at 70lbs down:) love my sleeve! This has been a learning process though but I wouldn't change it for anything!!

I am 11 weeks post op. had surgery March 28th. My hw was 340lbs currently at 280!! I don't know my surgery weight but high weight was on march 14 when I started liquid diet. Goal weight is 170lbs! Pictures of my face: top are from Oct 2012, bottom left from 2 days post op, bottom right was a few days ago. Body pics: left is two days post op, right is few days ago.

Had surgery March 28th. I don't know what I weighed day of surgery but on march 14th day I started liquid diet I was 340lbs as of today I am 283lbs total of 57lbs down!

First pic is from Christmas 2012 highest weight 340lbs. Had surgery March 28, 2013 I've lost 42lbs to date so almost 6 weeks. Can anyone see a difference? I can't really:/ need some uplifting words!!

I'm so confused! I'm up and down on the scale an can't seem to figure out what to do to start making this work. I'm 6 weeks out today and I've lost 42lbs. But I've stalled and gained then lost for the past 2 weeks. I'm working out eating low carb low calories. I can't seem to win! I need advice! I self paid in Mexico so I don't really have a NUT to help. Any advice greatly appreciated!!

I'm currently a month out from surgery down 38.5lbs give or take a pound or two:( my problem is my weight will go down then back up! I'm frustrated an need some help with a specific diet plan! I don't think I'm eating too much or the wrong things but I'm not sure. I was sleeved on Mexico so I have my NUT info but it's not specific enough. Can any experienced sleevers help me out! I still have about 110lbs to lose and I am ready to see it go for good!!

Going to have to try this!! I'm 3 weeks postop today and I have been in a stall for a week up until this morning showed 1lb lost. I get about 55grams of protein a day and about 60oz of water. Also been on and off my period the past week so I'm blaming that also:/ so frustrating! I've lost 35lbs as of this morning since preop diet 5 weeks ago! I have a lot to lose so I'm hoping this works!

I too chose Dr Illan in Tijuana on March 28th. He is amazing and so is Omar!! I had a high bmi so paid $4500 with no deposit. My husband and I flew spirit out of dfw round trip was about $600 bc we upgraded to the big front seats for comfort! We landed in San Diego about 10:00am and I had surgery that afternoon. I was treated fantastic and so was my husband. Florence hospital is beautiful! Only a few nurses didnt speak English which was fine, Omar was there everyday to take my husband to breakfast, lunch and dinner. I was released Saturday with no drain and felt good. Omar took us every where we needed and wanted to go. We got care packages at the hotel full of drinks, jello, bandages and medicine. In total I enjoyed my experience in Mexico and would 100% do it again! In fact I want to go back next summer to visit!!

I am 16 days post op today. Down 36.5lbs from my highest weight which was 2 weeks before surgery. I am beyond happy but I'm in a bit of a stall right now:( I have alot more weight to lose so I'm ready to see the scale moving more! I just started the purée stage an it's okay much more excited about soft foods next week!! I am having trouble getting all my liquids in daily and protein I figure that's why I'm stalled:( I sip and take regular drinks but it's just hard! I am trying though!!! ) good luck to all!! I love hearing all the progress it's so motivational!!!!

I'm doing fantastic! No pain, I'm not that great on fluids I'm going to have to try harder!! I'm down 26.5lbs since my highest weight which was March 14th the day I started my preop diet. I feel pretty fabulous:)

I have been doing my research on a few drs in Tijuana and I'm currently just confused in who to go with. Anyone ever dealt with Ron at MBC? I keep seeing everyone saying Christy:/ and has anyone had dr lllan as their surgeon? I heard he is cheap! Just curious on who's best for the price. Oh and here's my stats. Age: 21 Weight: 327 Height: 5'4" BMI: 56 Also has anyone had a bad experience with Almanza? I am speaking to them to but I don't like the whole recovery house thing...

After surgery how long do I have to or how long did you wait to have sex again?

Tonight has been a horrible evening!! Giving me all the more reason to be anxious and ready for surgery 2 months from today!! I was at a friends house for her birthday, I was already feeling out of place bc I was drinking soup instead of eating what everyone else was but I made a small plate for my toddler and went to sit down in one of the chairs with her to feed her when bam! The chair broke!! Thank god I didn't drop my daughter!! They kept saying the chair was already broken and they had wood glued it back together two days ago and forgot when they brought it in. Either way I was and still am embarrassed, hurt and angry! I'm so sick of being a fat ass!! I was so upset bc my little girl was terrified and it was all bc mommy is fat!! March 28 plz hurry!!! Sorry vent over!

I'm looking for a protein that I can put in things like unflavored and I came across these and the unjury chicken soup. Can anyone tell me their experience with them? Nasty taste? I am about to throw up even thinking about some nasty flavors and brands I've tried!!!

Anyone know If I would have to have a seat belt extender for my flight? What's your experience with it? Asking for one?
