Betty, i wish you the best of luck because i hear i've been overweight all my life i was just banded a month ago i lost about 18 pounds i feel so much better, physcologically i was not doing good at all, and having this surgery i'm doing so much better, i wish you luck, i have harvard pilgrim insurance and they paid for everything, what i did was i called the insurance company before i booked an appointment, you should do that take care ivone:nervous
i hear you it was the worst nights of my life and i have mild sleep apnea and i hate to use the cpap i cant stand it, but i've lost about 18 pounds and my husband says that my snoring went away so hopefully i wont need it because i hate it hang in there
Hi Jackie, i also have mild sleep apnea, i was banded on april 23, 2007 lost about 18 pounds or so i got my machine at home, and let me tell i still cant get used to it its a terrible feeling to wear it, but since i lost weight my husband tells me that i dont snore any more, so the weight has all of it to do with it, did you have surgery already?:nervous

I'm also a April bander, i had surgery April 23, 2007, in Boston, Mass. and i feel great, i'm exercising already, walking, and i lost about 16 pounds, good luck to all of you, this is great support
I just recently had the lap-band surgery on April 23, 2007 in Boston, MA. My doctor was Dr. Kim, she's great. And so far i've lost 16 pounds, and i feel great, my first fill will be on June 14th.
