I Want To See Before & After Pics!
JP69 replied to Christina760's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
I posted these on another thread but here are mt before and after.I am 6 months post-op! -
Not really a solution, sorry to say. mine started thinning about 2 months ago at 4 months. I took biotin, ate all or most of protien, used special shampoo & conditioner. nothing has worked. but not sure if it would be worse if i wasnt doing all this. Look at it this way, its such a small price to pay for a dramatic change in your life. And you dont loose all of it. And it does start coming back around 6 to 12 months.Mine has slowed down.

Oh gosh I know how you feel! You can start by taking a dulcolax suspository that should clean you out pretty quickly. Then I can only speak for myself, I chew two gummy Fiber chews every morning, that seems to work for me, I go regularly about every three days or so. I haven't had constipation since I started the gummies. Good Luck!

I was a size 18/20 jeans and a 3X to 4X top, I was 235 before surgery and had to lose 20# before surgery which was Jan 14th 2013. I am now a size 6 or 8 and a lg or xlg top!! I havent taken my measurements yet. I also went down a whole shoe size to a 71/2. I am not that tiny I still have alot of fat around my middle, some or most is skin. but I have to deal with it cause I cant afford a tummy tuck. But trust me its a little sacrafice to be healthy and happy. The loose skin doesnt bother me as much as some. Good luck to everyone this was so worth the pain and effort I have put into it.

No, I must admit I do not go to the gym, but I do try and walk as much as possible and a try and stay active.I know I should start to tone up, I just havent a clue how to go about it, and cant afford a gym!

Failed 1st attempt @ bypass surgery, is the sleeve for me?
JP69 replied to LBD's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Wow, you know doubt have been through alot. More and more people are opting for the sleeve because it is less ivasive to some degree. No rerouting for one, no mal-obsorbtion problems, etc. The bypass is better if your a diabetic, but you just need to examine both surgeries and see which one would be the best and most successful for you. Good Luck:) -

January sleevers......what's your weight loss so far?
JP69 replied to pottergirl's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
surgery was Jan. 14, lost 20# pre- op and 57 post-op 77 total. But its true everyone is so different in thier journey, try not to compare. -
I brought mine because they told me to bring it. i hadnt used mine either, by the time the person came in to hook up i said no, because they wake you every couple of hours, theres no way i was gonna get any sleep with that thing on. They didnt argue with me so it sat in the chair for two days!
