I think I'm in trouble, I lose hair like that now and I'm still pre op! I can't imagine what it will be like post op!

I've been on stomach meds for about 4 years already. The way I look at it, I'm suffering now, I might as well be thin and suffer instead of fat and suffer lol.

Yes I know people's bodies are different and people lose at different rates. I just want to see people's progress that have my stats. 5'3" and 285lbs

Are you on regular food or soft food? I know they have lots of seafood at Japanese places. A baked or broiled fish? Or if you like sushi you could get some sashimi

I'm nervous about this too. I have a 4 year old and a 10 month old. My husband can't take off more then one day, and my mom is taking off a week. After the first week I'm on my own with the kids. I have no idea how I'm going to do it!

I think it depends on your bmi. My bmi is too high to get the one incision. So I have to get 5

My insurance is up for renewal in may. My surgery isn't until June/July. We have Medicaid managed care through united healthcare. My husband got a new job making good money so we will definitely be dropped. His job's insurance is horrible. I was wondering if there is any state insurances that I would be placed in, even if we had to pay monthly for it? I don't want to have my insurance lapse and have done all of this work for nothing. I NEED this sleeve! Thank you

When I had my staples removed from my cections it felt like a sting. Like someone plucking a hair out. Not really painful. But it's a different kind of surgery so not sure how relevant my experience is lol

I think it's doctors preference. I'm pre op, but I has 2 cections with 2 different doctors. One used staples, one used "glue"

I'd try a sip or 2 at home first in case you have a bad reaction. I wouldn't want to be sick in public!

You look so young! Lol But things went well, we had a heart to heart about why I was a raging b***h and how I feel about myself and him, but I didn't have the courage to tell him my weight.

This is what I need to remind myself. I'm a damn good wife! My husband and I started with about $5 in our pockets and have leaned on each other to get in the comfortable position we are in now! When no one believed in him (even his own family) I was there cheering him on. I have to remember not to be so vein. I know I'm a catch, I have to stop looking at just my physical appearance.
