My mom has had to postpone her surgery about 8 months. She has a significant ulcer that just won't heal. It has to be removed. She's going in on Monday for her sleeve, but if the ulcer is in the way they will have to do a full bypass. I had ulcers too, but mine healed over the 6 month supervised diet.

I don't think I'm allowed milk. Only clear liquids and 3 shakes. I have the Premier Protein from costco. I've been good since. I got out a little and did some clothes shopping for my kids so I got my mind off of food. I can't wait to be on the losers side! -

Did you have a sleep study? Because I didn't think I had sleep apnea. I had no symptoms, slept pretty well, but when tested I do have it. -

Haha..My pity party was yesterday when I was making my husband and kids a nice home made meal and I sat at the table with my Jello lol. My husband looked at my bowl and I just told him to shut up and not talk to me. I had a good cry too. I never realized the hold that food had on me. Kinda disgusting when I think about it -

Because if insurance won't cover it, most doctors in the states charge around 20,000. You can go to Mexico and pay less then 5,000 including air fare and hotel. Plus, the doctors are just as experienced, some even more so -
And im already hungry with a headache. I think it's completely mental, because its only 8am and I never eat this early normally! Is going to be a rough 2 weeks! 4 shakes a day plus clear liquids. I'm going to prove to myself that I can have will power, since I've never been able to stick to a diet before! I'm nervous!
