today is my 4 month surgiversary and I am 200 from 253. yay me! onward I go.

just fyi update : 4 months out and so far no more headaches since march. I hope this helps

I start the gym today. going swimming then some strength training. sure wish I had a great workout buddy.

ok. so I am thrilled @ losing 52lbs. yay me. I haven't bought clothes cause I didn't want to be disappointed. well I was. 52lbs and I am only in a 16 from an 18. and it's a very TIGHT 16...but it was a tight 18. but still. 52!!!! sigh. just needed to say it.

I will tell you why. because after the pain, discomfort, exhaustion, waiting, working out and pre-op crapola......and the misery of the 1st month ... you expect more for what you get @ that moment. you see a post from a moment in time.... its not fair to judge from that. we ALL have the "that's all I lost"moment" then a month goes by and were happy to lose 10lbs not the 1 2 weeks before. also losing quickly makes you feel as though what your doing is working. if the negativity bothers you then add positivity instead of judgement. cause I know I've had my fill of judgment ...and I am sure all of us are

constipation. you don't think its going to be an issue. it is. I was NEVER constipated in my life until the sleeve and it by far the most uncomfortable feeling ever.

Texas! MEEE TOOO!! I cannot drink without a straw. Paulina- I dont get gas or bloat. I think it all depends on whether you can handle it or not. I breathe out the air in my mouth through my nose when I swallow....but I've always done that. Good luck

surgery feb 11 and today @ 5.5 weeks I have lost 22lbs yay! had a 3 week stall until 4 days ago.

I was sleeved feb11th and I have pseudotumor. and I am having my 1st headache since surgery right now. I have been off diamox for years...it's a horrible nasty medicine. my neurologist put me on lasik. works much better for me. I hope the sleeve helps because that's why I did it..

ok. 14 lbs in 1.5 after surgery all water weight im surr. now NOTHING! I even gained a pound. im 3 weeks out now. I get stalls and everything but seriously this sucks so much. wtheck. ugh. ok. I've done my complaining.

omgoodness Michelle me too. exactly the same. feb 11th. lost 14 and nothing in 2 weeks!! this is crazy. what on earth is going on

I am eating as much protein as possible! I eat and drink all day. I get about 40-50 right now. up to about 50oz of Fluid including Water. I have tried sooo many protein powders...drinks. spent so much money... I can't stand any of them. im getting @ most 500 calories. sigh.

surgery was 2-11. I feel fine. no real issues other then not being able to eat any kind of protein powder or mixed drink. incisions are fine. water hurts but lemon water doesn't. SUPER FRUSTRATED. lost 14 the 1st week and nothing for 2weeks now. no more lost inches either. seriously the 14 I could have done without surgery. I understand stalls in a way but 1st month is bull. you eat so little and get nothing. seriously aggravated.

46 in 2 months. how fantastic! congrats to you I'm just frustrated from having to deal with all of this to stall so soon. its like working your butt off to get a raise and then they give it to the bosses kid instead. grr. but I will stay off the scale for awhile and try to believe that this will work.

for the first time today...all bile. dry heaves and nausea. finally felt better decided to eat some broth since I hadn't eaten all day. now im uncomfortable and nauseous and feel like I could vomit. im scared of getting a leak from vomiting and uncomfortable .. bloated...there's much grumblys in this tumbly. why this bile. why the pain. I haven't had stomach pain since I got home and this is waaaay worse then after surgery ...prob all those good drugs. ok. im done. just had to say something

nope no fever. I had just had water. im fine now. just 1 crappy day. the next I was just fine

im making bacon for my hubby now. I bake it. helps with the grease and smell.

I had a wonderful experience with dr campus and dr Aceves! such caring people. there's a third doctor ...although I forget his name. he's the one who checks for leaks and takes out your drain ...he's very nice as well. if I had pain they gave me the good stuff no questions asked! Ernesto is so nice! and I was astounded by his picture! I loved my coordinator as well. had a great experience with them.

hihi all. I had my sleeve surgery monday 2-11. im 2 days out. surgery day was fine...but yesterday was horrendous! sooooo much pain and gas...and I walked alot! today is much better. had my barium leak test, got to see my new stomach and no leaks! yaay! they took out my drain....what a creepy feeling. I was so happy to pass gas and have 2 bm's! Im looking forward to not being so uncomfortable! hope everyone is recovering well
