  1. Wednesday I will be 10 weeks out and I felt like I could eat a house today. I had a yogurt, my protein drink, chili, baked lays Cheetos, do I need to go on... YES... Please don't yell at me, Reese's peanut butter cups, a sip of sprite, 4 oz chicken breast and some salad and water. Did my stomach grow back or something. I don't understand. This is by far the WORST day ever for me. Wtf did I do to myself.

    Super scared.

Thanks guys!! I do track what I eat and even logged in all of the junk. Today Is much better. Yogurt. Isopure drink. Salad and some chicken. Then I have to start on my water. What a difference a day can make!!! Thank you all for the support!! Love you all
  3. Can anyone tell me the signs and symptoms of being dehydrated. I'm sure I am bc some days I don't drink any water. It's hard. Due to the hunger hormone being gone I do not think about or want food. It's really hard. I can't even force myself to Do it even though I know I have too. I have a horrible dry mouth over night especially when I wake up its a freaking desert inside my mouth!!

  5. Hey everybody I was sleeved on March 6 of this year my weight when I went into surgery was 261 pounds my current weight is 238 almost 5 weeks later. When I went to the NUT on April 1 my weight was 239 pounds I am a bit discouraged because the scale has not moved and I am in a bit of a slump. I eat food when I can and I'm sure to get all the protein in first if I am unable to eat all of the protein I always drink my protein so I am never lacking it. You know that weight isn't going to just fall off but I thought that I would be losing a little faster than this. I am just a bit discouraged right now I am not having anything that I am not supposed to be having very low sugar very low carbs I don't know what I am doing wrong.
  6. This was day of surgery and 4 weeks later

  8. After a long haul I am down to the final countdown 10 days and hopefully I will be in my hospital room recovering from the best surgery decision I've ever made I am overwhelmed with emotion mostly being excited and if I think too much I get a little nervous but I know that this is the best decision that I can make for myself and my future I'm not sure what I'm nervous of maybe the new lifestyle that I will be living but I know that that is what I need to do in order to be healthy this has been a long time coming I was supposed to get the surgery in July but I got tonight for my insurance company because they say obesity is a pre existing condition so we waited and resubmitted on January 21st I finally got the approval and had set up my surgery for February 11th but God had a different plan for me I went to the hospital the last Tuesday of January and found out later that night I need my gallbladder removed the thing that relieve me the most was that I found out that my bariatric surgeon was in fact a general surgeon and he performed my gallbladder removal surgery I know he's a great doctor and I am excited to have him working on me. So now I am fully recovered from gallbladder surgery and I'm setting up for surgery on March 6 it's the final countdown for me 10 days and I start my new life. How was every other March sleever feeling

    smokers... er... ex smokers

Hey sleevers. I had surgery on March 6 of this year and coincidently that was the last day I had a cigarette. So far I am learning that food and cigarettes are both very mental and I am extremely thankful for that!!!! At times I do you just want to try one or have a drag but then I think about how far I have come and I do not want to lose my 17 days but I am cigarette free!!!

    Any March Sleevers?

Rule of thumb isyou're not supposed to drink 30 minutes before and 30 minutes after a meal to decrease the opportunity for your stomach to make you feel hungry

    March 8th sleevers!

I'm not talking about the powder. There's ready made drinks like powerade or Gatorade. They retail for about $6 and is do worth it in my opinion. You get 40g of protein in along with 20oz of liquid.
