Hang in there honey. It will get better and everyone has their own time table as to when. I felt much better when I was still restricted to Clear liquids and was able to drink some Isopure clear Protein. Until then, I felt so incredibly weak. I don't think the beef and chicken broth was giving me enough Protein. Once I purchased the Isopure and drank it I felt better. Hope you feel better soon.
Like others have said, get that Water in and the protein the doctors allow you to have. Your body has just been traumatized by the surgery and it needs lots of TLC to recover.

well then, you are probably right that the risks are too great. this surgery is for people who feel they have no other good options available to them to recover from obesity and the illnesses that come with that.

I'm glad you've sought help for whatever is going on. If they suspect kidney stones, a CT scan is usually done, a urinalysis, and a CBC.
Gallbladder might be the other option and they should do an abdominal ultrasound and an LFTs (liver function tests) to diagnose that.
People with kidney stones are usually in extreme, horrifying pain that does not subside. Gallbladder pain mimics symptoms of a heart attack some times and causes extreme pain that feels colicky (spasm / cramp like), and a feeling that you can't breathe. Typically the pain can be in the chest, right side, and radiating to the back.
Hope they figure it out and you're feeling better really soon. Good luck!

Well guys this is actually my big day! i report to the hospital at 11 am. I have found that in the past 2 days I have told a lot more people including my grandmother (which means the entire world now knows lol) I guess I figured that since it was definitely happening now and everything was set in stone, it didn't really matter. Here's to a knew healthier start!

You can't stop looking at/examining your collar bones, wrists, ankles, ribs and hip bones cause you've never actually knew they existed.
Your bras cost less, which is a good thing because your buying them every two months or so
You throw away food with little guilt
Your stomach and thighs look like melting silly putty and you couldn't care less!
Weight loss ads are no longer intriguing, but profoundly annoying.
Cameras and mirrors are now your friends

At restaurants you get to order just an appetizer and it totally fills you up!
You no longer want to go to a buffet because you can't eat your money's worth!
Your foodie friends are a little irritated when you finish your meal way before them.
You don't have to shop in the plus size stores!
You can easily walk through the mall where the really cute clothes finally fit you!
I could go on and on....

I think I'm doing great! Today is Day Seven post-op for me.
Came home from hospital Day One post-op. Had my WTF?! day on Day Two. Was over all that by Day Three. Finally hit 60 grams of Protein on Day Four -- will hit 74 grams of protein today.
Have been sleeping well, and surgery gas is mostly gone.
Am walking for exercise a bit. Have had some very energetic days (laundry, light housekeeping, exercise, grooming like a teenager, etc.) alternated with days when I nap a lot. No pain, although some occasional tummy soreness.
The biggest surprise for me is that I can drink (better every day) and eat yogurt and Soup just fine. I burp sometimes, but I have had zero nausea and haven't thrown up at all.
Oh, and I'm down 5 pounds from pre-op. So that's -11 pounds dieting on my own earlier this summer, -8 pounds on pre-op diet, and -5 pounds since surgery = -24 pounds below my highest ever.
Have my first surgeon visit this coming Thursday. That will be Day Ten.
    I'm on my way.

Sandstress we're all moving on the same road to a goal. Some hit pot holes, some speed bumps, others run and still others crawl but we do it our way. None the same. We're all different but want a similar outcome to be healthier and at a good weight for us though this surgery.
I'm sure you didn't mean to say anything to criticize any person and it takes a lot of courage to apologize to a group.
You'll do fine and good luck with your surgery.
One of my favorite sayings is:
    I don't take anything personal unless it's a compliment.

If i can offer you some advice as a VGS sucess story and a blogger for 10 years, TYPE WHAT YOU FEEL. If what you are experiencing is motivating you to write for help, clearing your conscious, entertainment, or whatever...you shouldn't have to apologize for your feelings. I hope you don't feel like you owe anyone anything by stating your opinions, especially when you weren't intending to offend/harm someone else. You be you.

No need to apologize here, just move on! I have learned to do that here, sometimes we just say something and boom, it hits a nerve with someone. My husband and I were both sleeved, and it has truly changed our lives. We were terrified of the unknown, but the alternative was sitting in our recliners dying by not being able to do anything. There is a lot of support here. You will be able to contribute to help someone else so hang in here, Life will be sooooooo good!

Don't sweat the small the stuff. No one will remember in a day or two. Welcome and don't worry too much about loose skin. I have previously lost most of my weight and gotten down to around 155 (oh yes, I gained it all back thankyouverymuch which is why I'm here and getting surgery) and I had a little loose skin but it wasn't excessive or painful. And I didn't have any rashes or anything. It was nothing a little Spanx couldn't fix. It's better to feel good, be healthy and look good in clothing.
