A leak is serious, in my opinion, and that is what the OP asked about. Edit: okay - now I understand what you were saying. You weren't saying a leak isn't serious, you were saying that one can have all kinds of minor symptoms that can cause you to worry, but may not indicate a problem. Sorry I misunderstood.

You need to call your surgeon's office and see what they say (and let them know that you took it and how much). As a general rule, ibuprofen is not allowed after bariatric surgery.
-
As incidental means "not serious" or an issue that when present does not need to be treated, I don't think that's a good choice of words. Unlikely or rare would be more accurate.

Good luck! And please keep us posted

You are not supposed to cross post (post the same thing on multiple threads) according the the bariatric pal terms of use agreement and I see that you've posted this in at least 10 places. You are also hi-jacking these threads. Just letting you know.

I agree. Nothing to fret about. I have suffered with clinical depression and anxiety for 30 years (I've addressed both) - took the MMPI2 with no problems. They don't expect us to be perfect. I don't think many people get to the point of needing bariatric surgery without having some issues.

Vegetarian/Vegan RNY Oct. 2014 surgery
docbree replied to CafeCathey's topic in Gastric Bypass Surgery Forums
Not trying to be inflammatory, but my surgeon refuses to do bariatric surgery on vegetarians or vegans because he does not believe it is possible to get enough protein in without excessive carb calories. I have no idea if that's true or not. -

Looking for Plastic Surgeon in Dallas Metroplex
docbree replied to crysclev's topic in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
Each facility has the option of deciding the interest rate you will get. The lower the rate you have to pay, the smaller portion of the amount put on care credit the facility actually gets. Some facilities do not offer the 12 month no interest because they lose so much profit. Definitely something you want to check on before you put a lot on a care credit card. In addition, there is a $200.00 per transaction minimum to be eligible for a promotional rate. Sorry I don't have any DFW surgeon info - just wanted to make sure the care credit thing was cleared up. -
Great recommendations! Thank you very much .

No - it's just required by my surgeon

I go to a group that meets the first Tuesday of the month at Methodist mansfield. I really like it. It is free and anyone can attend.

Congratulations!!! I'm so happy for you .

Is there another psychologist that your surgeon uses? Could you make another appointment to see the first one to try to clear everything up?
-
I really don't think you blew anything. The purpose of the psych eval is not to determine if you need the surgery or if you have co-morbidities. She is there to see if you know what you're getting into and are psychologically able to handle all of the changes and challenges that come with it.

Ugh....here we go again.

From what I've read on other threads, saying you didn't have surgery when you did is not lying.
