    ONEderland! I'm here

Thank you everyone for the kind words!!! I just can't wait to see what the future weeks and months has to hold.
  3. Omg I made it to onederland!!! 9 weeks after surgery, and I'm here. I can't believe it. I haven't seen a one as the first number in my weight, since I was in high school. I almost cried (but didn't) although I did do a happy dance all around the bedroom. My first goal accomplished. Rewarded myself with a pair of jeans that are OMG a size 14. Next, goal is to do a 5k run/walk with my daughter in June. Here are some pics of me before and after.

    ONEderland! I'm here

No, it actually took 10 I keep forgetting about the pre-op week. My doctor has progressed my diet to now eating soft foods. But high Protein foods( tuna, cottage cheese, Greek yogurt, eggs) I try really hard to get the liquids in. Haven't gotten up to drinking 8 glasses of Water yet. I normal will have a yogurt for Breakfast, some tuna or Soup for lunch and if I'm working I don't eat dinner. ( I work long hours) I do my best not to eat after 7pm. Exercise I go to the gym two to three times a week for about an hour. If I can't make the gym I do Zumba. At the gym I work on the elliptical, treadmill, and then I do light weights. I hit my problem areas Hope this can help you on your journey.

    2 months post op

Can't wait to see what I'll look like next month. Just a few more oz and I'll see that one the scale that I've missed so much.
  8. Just made my 2 month post op date. I've lost 50 Ibs so far. Can't believe it, I finally looked at some pictures of myself to see if there really is a difference. (Been told by many that I look like I've lost some weight). Couldn't believe the difference just two months has made. Can't wait and see what the up coming months have to hold. Have no regrets about my sleeve, couldn't be more happier. So decided I would post a couple of pics.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Hi everyone. I was wondering does everyone have a drain after the surgery? Cause I've read a couple of stories and some mention a drain some don't.

    Im a basket case

I'm in the same boat as you. Tomorrow is my surgery as you put it I'm a basket case also. I just broke down this morning. Like omg should I do this, have I tried all diets have I done all that I can do? Is this really the solution? But I think we all go through this emotion. I'm excited and nervous and scared all at the same time. But I'm hoping for the best. At this point in the game I can't back out. Gonna say a prayer tonight and just go for it. Going to put in god's hands
