    Hi can any one help? I was banded on the 29th june and I am at day 6 todayI feel worse than just after I was banded? My stomach is bloated and every time i breathe in I think I can feel my band? Is this normal??? Or have I done some thing ? Please can any one give me any suggestions

    hey i am sorry this might sound gross!!! could you be constipated? as the liquid diet comes out as liquid and nothing going in that is solid so nothing to come out as solid? I am interseted in what you surgeon has to say?

    Wow faithmind you have certainly put every thing back in to perspective, I was the same starving!!! and keen to cheat but not now I am totally back on track. thanks for your words of encouragement

    thanks for that big baby, as each day goes by I feel much better. No pain meds, sleeping well, I do feel hungry though! I am not sure if i should feel hungry or not? can any one help

    hi all I have only been banded for three days and I am finding the band feels very odd? burping is hard to do to. I hope all is ok, Dont need and pain meds any more as i could not stand the taste of then. sounds like you all are doing great keep up the good work

You are amazing to do this move countries and a Single mum of two. it seems you can climb any hurdle , Welcome to NZ hanmer is a great place we visit often. is exercise a daily walk up Connical Hill? talk soon

    Hi Nuff I was not overly ken on the vanilla shakes either but I purchased some frozen berries and added these to the vanilla and they tasted great. also when you ad the berries with only 100ml of Water put it in a pudding bowl and then into the freezer for 30 mins with some berries and eat it like a desert. this was nice also. good luck

    hi All I am 3 days post op and I am starting ot get used to this band although it feels very odd, burping is a little difficult though. the best part is I have seen the scales move which is great. Itsjustme: to get your ticker on your post you need to copy the URL link and then go to quick links at the top of the page and click on edit signiture and paste in there. Good luck

    We I am back home now after two nights in hospital, I can say the procedure went very well, the major pain I had was the port pain and as the surgeon advised me it was because this is stitched to my ribs. On wards and down wards on the scale

    it is 6am on surgery day and I am feeling like this day would never come!!! I am excited but very nervous. i will check in when I am home from hospital this is the first day of my smaller future. cant wait.

    hi All june Bansters, I went in and piad for my surgery today and I am banded on Friday I am very excited but nervous, I dont know how much I have lost as I am staying away from the scales as I have become obsessed. thanks for all this feed back it is great

    hi ALl I managed to get the full $6000 from Southern Cross, this allowance is a one of at the discretion of the chief medical officer, I had to suppy them with my BMI, and family history that my surgeon arranged for me, So lucky for me the mortgage is not as much:clap2:

    hi All Well I am 5 days into my pre-op diet and it seems to be going very well, My husband (love him) has been reading all my info and to stop me obsessing over the scales he has taken them off me so I can celebrate the big losses. (I never realised how obsessed I had become over the scales) I do have a question with the Optifast pre-Op diet are we ok to have fruit? the optifast info has this but all my information does not? I hope all are well. Excited June 29th Bandster

    hi All I have also started my pre-op diet today and I am feeling so far so good. I am being banded onthe 29th June. My lovely husdband has today taken some photos of me in my clothes and some in my underwear for the fulture and extra motivation when needed. He also has taken the scales from me to stop myself wieghing my self all the time. congrats to you all that are banded and good luck to those who like me are the end of June

    Wow it is such a small world. I should meet up with her on the day of the surgery. I have to be in a 7:00am in the morning. i am excited but nervous. What made your mum decide on the surgery? was it your results? the big worry to me is the Band Slippage!!! My husband and I are self funding this operation with a mortgage so i really need thi to work. I am a Gym person which I enjoy. I am looking forward to My Sister in Laws wedding in Sept and Christmas alot slimmer me. Hope to catch up soon Kind Regards

    hi Minty fresh I just had a look at your weight loss blog wow you are amazing, I too am self funded we are also taking a loan to pay for this surgery but I see this as our familys future. I also have PSOC which also makes it very hard for me to loose weight. good luck to all June Bandsters
