    Tried something new and dropped 4 pounds in a day! I took my Prilosec in the morning and a Zantac 150 in the afternoon and felt no hunger all day. I wasn't able to reach my protein goal, but did very well. When I went to gnc to purchase more protein shakes they gave me samples of ripped freak, which I am trying today. They are supposed to help burn fat. So far I have a big energy boost. I only have a week to cut at least 8 pounds to reach one of my doctors goals so I sure hope it helps :-)

    I just bought some b vitamins from gnc that taste like starburst. Tried it at the store, hope I sleep tonight. The blend that they have is supposed to burn more fat :-)

    My doctor has always said he wants me at that level of protein, he said that it maintains my muscle mass. I have to use 2 protein shakes a day to hot it and the rest from food. I can tolerate most food except beef, and eat land o frost lunch meat quite a bit, and tolerate it well. If you are on my fitness pal, you can add me to see what I eat rsmont77

    How are all the December sleevers doing this week? Any successes or challenges? I have been traveling and it is hard to get the 90-100 grams of protein a day or even exercise. Lost a couple of pounds this week.
  6. I'm on Prilosec and it keeps acid at bay, I had a hiatel hernia repaired during surgery and have not had any reflux since surgery. Prior to surgery it was horribly bad. For a couple days I forgot to take the Prilosec and was real sick, once I took it again I was fine. If I feel I need more I take a Zantac 150 and it works lithe a charm. I am 7 weeks out.

    I added jerky, cheese sticks, tuna, shrimp, land I frost ham and turkey.

    I upped my exercise and protein to 90+ grams a day, I really try to get 100+, but sometimes end up at 94-96. I drink 2 gnc total lean shakes a day 50g and eat the other 45-50 in foods. When I want a snack, I have cucumber, green olives, cherry tomatoes or jack links beef jerky, they are great and curb the appetite. If I want sweets, I add mio to my water or hot tea and that helps. It has helped me stay on track. I am almost 6 weeks out

  19. I have dr Cirangle and he is an excellent surgeon, he has many offices, but none in Chicago. I believe California and Hawaii. Many of his patients travel to have him do their surgeries, a lot of them from Canada as well.

    Constipation HELL....P!

    I drink zendos dieters tea every other day, it is a senna product, but I am going every day now and my body feels better. My nutritionist said it was fine to drink, and it adds liquid :-)

    All of my December sleevers...

    Aaron we are surgery buddies, I was sleeved on the same date. Sometimes I have head hunger, so I eat some dense protein (chicken, turkey or cheese) and then I am stuffed for awhile. Make sure you don't drink for at least 45 minutes after you eat, it keeps you full longer and keeps you from snacking later.

    I feel the same, I'm trying not to weigh daily, have been measuring every 2 weeks, just increased protein to 90-100 and kept carbs below 30g. It helped me break my stall.

    what is your favorite snack post op

    I have very strict requirements for the soft goods phase, cottage cheese, Greek yogurt, soft eggs and tofu. I like imitation crab, but when I liked at it, there were too many carbs for my plan. :-(

    One Week Post Op!

    I am one of Dr Cirangle's patients, and it is a very detailed post op guide, he is very structured and strict, but worth it. Unfortunately, since it is copywrited I cannot give it out ( I am an author and know all about the rules).
  25. These are my favorite as well, I have to drink 2 a day to hit 90-100 grams of protein a day. They have quite a few calories, but if the other things you are eating are lean you should be able to get 700 calories a day. My nutritionist approved them as well. :-). I am 5 weeks out.
